Ezekial  2:6  NKJV
"And you, son of man, do not be afraid of  them nor be afraid of their words,
though you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by
their looks; though they are a rebellious house.   7  You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear of whether  they refuse for they are rebellious.  8But you, son of man, hear what I say to you.  Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you." 9  Now when I looked, there was a hand stretched out to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it. 10  Then He spread it before me; and there was writing on it were lamentations and mourning and woe.

Ezek 3:1-4  NKJV     The Responsibility of the Prophet
Moreover He said to me, "Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel."  2 So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll.  3 And He said to me, "Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you." So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.    4 Then He said to me: "Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them.

When the Lord had me look these up, I was surprised by how many of them there  are.  It is a terrible thing to be put in the hand of the Living God. And judgment is reserved for the WICKED.  Remember that as you read.  This is not for the weak in heart. But there has been great error preached in thinking that  God never uses prophets to correct or speak negative things.  The woe is to those who don't speak them, when they are told to  at least that's what He told Ezekial.

Woe:
OT:337  'iy (ee); short from OT:188; alas!:
OT:188   'owy (o'-ee); probably from OT:183 (in the sense of crying out
after); lamentation;  also interjectionally Oh!: KJV - alas, woe.
    KJV - woe.

OT:1945
howy (hoh'ee); a prolonged form of OT:1930 [akin to OT:188]; oh!:  KJV - ah,
alas, ho, O, woe.    OT:1930  how (ho); by permutation from OT:1929; oh!:
KJV - alas.   OT:188  'owy (o'-ee); probably from OT:183 (in the sense of crying
out after); lamentation; also interjectionally Oh!:  KJV - alas, woe.  OT:183
'avah (aw-vaw'); a primitive root; to wish for:   KJV - covet, (greatly) desire,
be desirous, long, lust (after).

NT:3759
ouai (oo-ah'-ee); a primary exclamation of grief; "woe":  KJV - alas, woe.

You can see from the definitions that it is an expression of grief.  The Lord
Grieves When He must bring judgment for such woes.  He does not delight in
Destruction for He is a God of love and life.

Numbers 21:29 NKJV         Woe to you, Moab! You have perished, O people of
Chemosh!  He has given his sons as fugitives,  and his daughters into captivity, to
Sihon king of the Amorites.

1 Samuel 4:7-8 NKJV    So the Philistines were afraid, for they said, "God has come
into the camp!" And they said, "Woe to us! For such a thing has never happened
before.   Woe to us!  Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods?
These are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

Job 10:15  NKJV  If I am wicked, woe to me; Even if I am righteous, I cannot lift up my head.  I am full of disgrace; See my misery!

Proverbs 23:29 NKJV    Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has contentions? Who has complaints? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes?

Ecclesiastes 4:10 NKJV    For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.  But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.

In other words, it is not good to be isolated or to isolate yourself.

Ecclesiastes 10:16 NKJV    Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child,
and your princes feast in the morning!

Isaiah 3:9 NKJV    The look on their countenance witnesses against them, and they declare their sin as Sodom;  They do not hide it. Woe to their soul!  For they have brought evil upon themselves.

The Lord seems to be saying woe to those who are proud of their sinning, who even brag about it openly.  Billy Graham once said, God would have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah if He did not judge this nation of America.

Isaiah 3:11 NKJV   Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,  For the reward of his hands shall be given him.

Isaiah 5:8 NKJV       Impending Judgment on Excesses
Woe to those who join house to house;  They add field to field,  Till there is no place where they may dwell alone in the midst of the land!

Isaiah 5:11 NKJV    Woe to those who rise early in the morning, that they may follow intoxicating drink;  who continue until night, till wine inflames them!

Isaiah 5:18 NKJV   Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as if with a cart rope;

Vanity is a sin of pride and idolatry - idolatry to self.

OT:205
'aven (aw-ven'); from an unused root perhaps meaning properly, to pant (hence, to exert oneself, usually in vain; to come to naught); strictly nothingness; also trouble. vanity, wickedness; specifically an idol:  KJV - affliction, evil, false, idol, iniquity, mischief, mourners (-ing), naught, sorrow, unjust, unrighteous, vain vanity, wicked (-ness).

OT:7723
shav' (shawv); or shav (shav); from the same as OT:7722 in the sense of desolating; evil (as destructive), literally (ruin) or morally (especially guile); figuratively idolatry (as false, subjective), uselessness (as deceptive, objective; also adverbially, in vain): KJV - false (-ly), lie, lying, vain, vanity.

Isaiah 5:20-22 NKJV   Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;  Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;  Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!  21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!   22   Woe to men mighty at drinking wine, Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink,

There are many these days who call what the Holy Spirit does evil. They lack knowledge and accuse falsely the Most Holy Spirit of God.  God does not take this lightly.  And many call evil good.  Many think that it's ok to have mercy on what God does not have mercy on.  We need HIS perspective, and to renounce our own opinions.  When we have a question, to take it to the Lord for His wisdom.

Isaiah 6:5 NKJV    So I said:  "Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts."

Isaiah 10:1 NKJV    Assyria Shall Be Broken  "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees,  who write misfortune,  which they have prescribed "

This is a very weighty thing. For the Lord Who is JUSTICE, does not take lightly people speaking out of their own heart of vengeance.  Remember what He spoke to James and John when they wanted to call fire down from heaven ?  YOU KNOW NOT WHAT SPIRIT YOU ARE OF !    We need to be speaking ONLY what He is speaking, and not from any anger or bitterness in our own heart, that desires to see God take vengeance on those who have hurt us.  Much of the hurt has been for our perfecting.

Isaiah 10:5 NKJV    Arrogant Assyria Also Judged  "Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger and the staff in whose hand is My indignation.

Isaiah 17:12 NKJV     Woe to the multitude of many people who make a noise like the roar of the seas,  and to the rushing of nations that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

Isaiah 18:1 NKJV    Proclamation Against Ethiopia
Woe to the land shadowed with buzzing wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia,

Isaiah 24:16 NKJV   From the ends of the earth we have heard songs: "Glory to the righteous!"  But I said, "I am ruined, ruined!  Woe to me!  The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously, indeed, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously."

Isaiah 28:1 NKJV   Woe to Ephraim and Jerusalem.  Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim,  whose glorious beauty is a fading flower which is at the head of the verdant valleys, to those who are overcome with wine!

It's a good thing the Lord spoke all these woes about excessive alcohol.  Many, many people have suffered because of the folly of alcoholism.  Many women have been beaten, many children molested due to the insanity that comes with overindulgence in drinking.  Many children neglected because of drinking moms. Many other innocent have been killed in car accidents.

Isaiah 29:1 NKJV   Woe to Jerusalem  "Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where
David dwelt!  Add year to year; Let feasts come around.

Isaiah 29:15 NKJV    Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far
from the LORD, And their works are in the dark;  They say, "Who sees us?" and,
"Who knows us?"

   Zeph 1:12 NKJV
2 "And it shall come to pass at that time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps,
And punish the men Who are settled in complacency, who say in their heart,
'The LORD will not do good, nor will He do evil.'
Zeph 2:3 NKJV  3 Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld
His justice.  Seek righteousness, seek humility.  It may be that you will be hidden
In the day of the LORD's anger.

Here is the complacency and apathy towards God and those He has created, He so abhors.  Yes He abhors it.  When God says WOE, it is not a thing to be taken lightly.  He had the most anger in the New Testament against the Pharisees,  who were secretly hiding their sins, and unrepentant, like Saul in King David's time.

Isaiah 30:1 NKJV                 Futile Confidence in Egypt
"Woe to the rebellious children," says the LORD,  "Who take counsel, but not of Me,  and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin;

In Ezekial 44:17-18 NKJV
17 And it shall be, whenever they enter the gates of the inner court, that they shall put on linen garments; no wool shall come upon them while they minister within the gates of the inner court or within the house.
What does that have to do with this verse?  Linen does not cause sweat, wool does.
Wool represents the works of mandoing things on our own efforts, instead of listening to God and doing what He says.

Isaiah 31:1 NKJV   The Folly of Not Trusting God
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help,  and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many,  and in horsemen because they are very strong,  but who do not look to the Holy one of Israel, Nor seek the LORD!

Isaiah 33:1 NKJV     A Prayer in Deep Distress
Woe to you who plunder, though you have not been plundered;  and you who deal treacherously, though they have not dealt treacherously with you!  When you cease plundering,  You will be plundered;  When you make an end of dealing treacherously,  they will deal treacherously with you.

Isaiah 45:9 NKJV    "Woe to him who strives with his Maker!  Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth!   Shall the clay say to him who forms it, 'What are you making?'  Or shall your handiwork say, 'He has no hands'?

Isaiah 45:10 NKJV    Woe to him who says to his father, 'What are you begetting?'  Or to the woman, 'What have you brought forth?'"

Jeremiah 4:13 NKJV   "Behold, he shall come up like clouds, and his chariots like a whirlwind.  His horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us, for we are plundered!"

Jeremiah 4:31 NKJV    "For I have heard a voice as of a woman in labor,  the anguish as of her who brings forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion bewailing herself; she spreads her hands, saying, 'Woe is me now, for my soul is weary  because of murderers!'

Jeremiah 10:19 NKJV    Woe is me for my hurt! My wound is severe.  But I say, "Truly this is an infirmity,  And I must bear it."

Jeremiah 13:27 NKJV      I have seen your adulteries and your lustful neighings,  the lewdness of your harlotry,  your abominations on the hills in the fields.  Woe to you, O Jerusalem!  Will you still not be made clean?"

Jeremiah 15:10 NKJV              Jeremiah's Dejection
Woe is me, my mother,  that you have borne me, A man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth!  I have neither lent for interest,  Nor have men lent to me for interest.  Every one of them curses me.

Jeremiah 22:13 NKJV    "Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness  and his chambers by injustice, who uses his neighbor's service without wages and gives him nothing for his work,

Jeremiah 23:1 NKJV     The Branch of Righteousness
"Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!" says
the LORD.

Jeremiah 45:3 NKJV     'You said, "Woe is me now! For the LORD has added
grief to my sorrow.  I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest."'

Jeremiah 48:1 NKJV     Judgment on Moab
Against Moab. thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel:  "Woe to Nebo!
For it is plundered,
Jeremiah 48:46 NKJV    Woe to you, O Moab!   The people of Chemosh perish;
For your sons have been taken captive, and your daughters captive.

Lamentations 3:5 NKJV    He has besieged me and surrounded me with bitterness and woe.
Lamentations 3:38 NKJV    Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that woe and
well-being proceed?
Lamentations 5:16 NKJV     The crown has fallen from our head. Woe to us, for we
have sinned!

Ezekiel 13:1-3  NIV   Woe to Foolish Prophets
The word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of
Israel who are now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own
imagination: 'Hear the word of the LORD! 3 This is what the Sovereign LORD
says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!

WOE on WITCHCRAFT and CURSING
Ezekiel 13:18 NKJV    and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Woe to the women who sew magic charms on their sleeves and make veils for the heads of people of every height to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of My people, and keep yourselves alive?"

Ezekiel 16:23-25 NIV    "'Woe! Woe to you, declares the Sovereign LORD. In addition to all your other wickedness, 24 you built a mound for yourself and made a lofty shrine in every public square. 25 At the head of every street you built your lofty shrines and degraded your beauty, offering your body with increasing promiscuity to anyone who passed by.

Ezekiel 24:6 NKJV     'Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:  "Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is in it,  and whose scum is not gone from it!  Bring it out piece by piece, on which no lot has fallen.
Ezekiel 24:9 NKJV 'Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "Woe to the bloody city!   I too will make the pyre great.

Ezekiel 30:2 NKJV    "Son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD:  "Wail, 'Woe to the day!'

Ezekiel 34:2 NKJV   "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds:   "Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves!  Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? "

Hosea 7:13 NKJV    "Woe to them, for they have fled from Me!  Destruction to them, because they have transgressed against Me!   Though I redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against Me."

Hosea 9:12 NKJV   Though they bring up their children,  yet I will bereave them to the last man. Yes, woe to them when I depart from them!        ( Ichabod means the Lord has departed )

Amos 5:18 NKJV    Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD!
For what good is the day of the LORD to you?  It will be darkness, and not light.

Woe to you who delight to see the judgment of the Lord for He does not delight in the death and destruction against His enemies.  For His nature is mercy to the sons of men.

Amos 6:1 NKJV    Warnings to Zion and Samaria
Woe to you who are at ease in Zion, and trust in Mount Samaria, notable persons in the chief nation, to whom the house of Israel comes!

In other words.WOE to you in the church who trust and mix in the ways of the world (Samaria).

Amos 6:3 NKJV   Woe to you who put far off the day of doom, who cause the seat of violence to come near;

Why does He say this ?  Because if we are not cognizant of His judgments we will be filled with rebellion and our own ways, which are ways of violence.  Doesn't it say that in the end times, men will not bear harsh warnings.  Doesn't it say that there will be scoffers saying, " Where is the day of His coming that you talk
about ? "That they will want tintillating words only ?

Micah 2:1 NKJV     Woe to Evildoers
Woe to those who devise iniquity, and work out evil on their beds!  At morning light they practice it, Because it is in the power of their hand.

Micah 7:1 NKJV    Sorrow for Israel's Sins
Woe is me!  For I am like those who gather summer fruits, like those who glean vintage grapes;  There is no cluster to eat  of the first-ripe fruit which my soul desires.

This should be our sorrow !  It is so true for today.

Nahum 3:1 NKJV   The Woe of Nineveh
Woe to the bloody city!  It is all full of lies and robbery.  Its victim never departs.
Zephaniah 3:1 NKJV      The Wickedness of Jerusalem
Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted,  to the oppressing city!

It could be saying"Woe to Los Angeles, it is full of lies and robbery,
and violence ! "

Habakkuk 2:5 NKJV    Woe to the Wicked
"Indeed, because he transgresses by wine, He is a proud man, and he does not stay at home.  Because he enlarges his desire as hell, and he is like death, and cannot be satisfied,  He gathers to himself all nations  and heaps up for himself all peoples.

Ok, I'm thinking of Illuminati here, and the purveyors of pornography and snuff films, mafia, etc.

Habakkuk 2:6 NKJV    "Will not all these take up a proverb against him, and a taunting riddle against him, and say, 'Woe to him who increases what is not his -- how long?  And to him who loads himself with many pledges'?
Habakkuk 2:9 NKJV   "Woe to him who covets evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high,  that he may be delivered from the power of disaster!

This is not for those that if He tells you to store food, or to build a city of refuge for the times to come you are doing wrong.  It is for the wickedwho thinks he can save himself !

Habakkuk 2:12 NKJV    "Woe to him who builds a town with bloodshed, Who establishes a city by iniquity!

I'm thinking there were many towns in America built on bloodshed, and plenty of iniquity. Of course I live in California.  We used the Mexican's own gold to buy this state.  So there has been much to repent of here.  We wiped out entire tribes, like some other states.

Habakkuk 2:15 NKJV   "Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbor, Pressing him
to your bottle, even to make him drunk,  that you may look on his nakedness!
Habakkuk 2:19 NKJV
Woe to him who says to wood, 'Awake!'  To silent stone, 'Arise! It shall teach!'  Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, yet in it there is no breath at all.

Woe to IDOLATRY  !  Interesting he says this right after drunkenness also since that is a form of idolatry also.

Zephaniah 2:5 NKJV    Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of the Cherethites!  The word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: "I will destroy you; So there shall be no inhabitant."

What does this say about the Palestinian state ?  But note it is GOD HIMSELF
Who takes the vengeance. " Vengeance is Mine", says the Lord, "I will repay."

Zechariah 11:17 NKJV   "Woe to the worthless shepherd,  who leaves the flock!  A sword shall be against his arm and against his right eye; His arm shall completely wither, and his right eye shall be totally blinded."

The above is a serious indictment, and I wondered, why the arm and right eye ?
***** Below is Matthew Henry's commentary.

"God, having shown the misery of this people in their being justly abandoned by the Good Shepherd, here shows their further misery in being shamefully abused by a foolish shepherd. The prophet is himself to personate and represent this pretended shepherd (v. 15): Take unto thee the instruments or accoutrements of a foolish shepherd, that are no way fit for the business, such a shepherd's coat, and bag, and staff, as a foolish shepherd would appear in; for such a shepherd shall be set over them (v. 16), who, instead of protecting them, shall oppress them and do them mischief.

1.They shall be under the inspection of unfaithful ministers. Their scribes, and priests, and doctors of their law, shall bind heavy burdens upon them, and grievous to be borne, and, with their traditions imposed, shall make the ceremonial law much more a yoke than God had made it. The description here given of the foolish shepherd suits very well with the character Christ gives of the scribes and Pharisees, Matt 23:2. They shall be under the tyranny of unmerciful princes, that shall rule them with rigour, and make their own land as much a house of bondage to them as ever Egypt or Babylon was. When they had rejected him by whom princes decree justice it was just that they should be turned over to those who decree unrighteous decrees.
Wow, like what that says, is the whole reason we have people in the pulpit who are corrupt, is because God put them there to be oppressive to those who have forsaken the true Shepherd in the first place !

2.They shall be imposed upon and deluded by false Christs and false prophets, as our Saviour foretold, Matt 24:5. Many such there were, who by their seditious practices provoked the Romans, and hastened the ruin of the Jewish nation; but it is observable that they were never cheated by a counterfeit Messiah till they had refused and rejected the true Messiah. Now observe,

I.What a curse this foolish shepherd should be to the people, v. 16. God will, for their punishment, raise up a foolish shepherd, who will not do the duty of a shepherd; he will not visit those that are cut off, nor go after those that go astray, nor seek those that are missing, to find them out and bring them home, as the good shepherd does, Matt 18:12-13. Their shepherds take no care of the young ones, that need their care and are well worthy of it, as Christ does, Isa 40:11. They do not heal that which was broken, which was worried and torn, but let it die of its bruises, when a little thing, in time, would have saved it. They do not feed those who, through weakness, stand still, and are ready to faint, and cannot get forward, but leave them behind, let who will take them up; they do not carry that which stands still (so some read it); they never do any thing to support the weak and comfort the feeble-minded; but, on the contrary,

1.They are luxurious themselves: They eat of the flesh of the fat; they will have of the best for themselves; and, like that wicked servant that said, My lord delays his coming, they eat and drink with the drunken, and serve their own bellies.

2.They are barbarous to the flock. Their passions are as ill-governed as their appetites, for, when they are in a rage against any of the flock, they tear their very claws in pieces by over-driving them; they beat their hoofs; they smite their fellow servants. Woe unto thee, O land! when thy king is such a child!

II.What a curse this foolish shepherd should bring upon himself (v. 17):
Woe to the idol-shepherd, who, like an idol, has eyes and sees not, who, like an idol, receives abundance of respect and homage from the people and the chief of their offerings, but neither can nor will do them any kindness. He leaves the flock when they most need his care, leaves them destitute, and flees, because he is a hireling; his doom is that the sword of God's justice shall be upon his arm and his right eye, so that he shall quite lose the use of both. His arm shall wither and be dried up, so that he who would not help his friends when it was required shall not know how to help himself; his right eye shall be utterly darkened, that he shall not discern the danger that his flock is in, nor know which way to look for relief. This was fulfilled when Christ said to the Pharisees, I have come that those who see may be made blind, John 9:39. Those that have gifts which qualify them to do good, if they do not do good with them, shall be deprived of them; those that should have been workmen, but were slothful and would do nothing, will justly have their arm dried up; and those that should have been watchmen, but were sleepy and would never look about them, will justly have their eye blinded.

So much for not touching God's anointed. God Himself touches them with judgment, but woe to those prophets who do not prophesy the truth of God's heart when HE tells them to, who only give tintillating words to comfort the hearts of the wicked.  That doesn't mean you have to yell or scream at those who are hirelings, or say bad things.

Often the Lord will give a tender word to someone in complete rebellion, to humble them and to get them to turn in love towards their Maker.  But sometimes, the admonitions are not heeded, and when that happens He might just send a John-the-Baptist type prophet who calls it as it is.

Matthew 11:20-21 NKJV    Woe to the Impenitent Cities (Gen 19:12-14; Luke 10:13-15)   Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent:   21 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.
15 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.

Matthew 23:16 NKJV  "Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.'

Matthew 23:23 NKJV   "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.

Matthew 23:25 NKJV
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!  For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.

Matthew 23:27 NKJV   "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness.

Matthew 23:29 NKJV
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs
of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous,

Matthew 24:19 NKJV   But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are
nursing babies in those days!

26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

For you are like graves which are not seen, and the men who walk over them are not aware of them."

Luke 11:46-47, 52 NKJV    And He said, "Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.  Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
52 "Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered."
