SPIRIT OF JEALOUSY – SPIRIT OF KORAH

Background
Some weeks ago, I was prompted by the Lord to request that the person I was ministering to, look into my eyes. The precious person responded that something was rising up against me inside of her, and that it was ugly and indeed I saw a manifestation of hatred in her eyes. I was told that it was the first time she actually could feel a spirit move inside her and she was highly embarrassed and started to weep silently. We were interrupted and deliverance did not take place (we were in a public place for the Lord moves in the streets and in the market place where I meet people by divine appointment, and it nearly always takes me by surprise. This happens when your spiritual heart and ears are always open to the promptings of the Lord)
Weeks passed and I eventually decided to phone this person and I was cut off, she confessed purposely by herself, and I and a sister who was with me at that time, could actually feel that spirit which had its "claws" out against me, even though we were far apart!
After some time I asked the Lord to get this person to phone me and within the week she did phone, and we arranged to meet. As I sat opposite her the Lord very clearly said Korah. As I searched the scriptures for Korah, the picture became very clear.
Spirit of Jealousy - Korah
Num 16:1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: 2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: 3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
Please note that Korah was a man of fame and renown in the congregation. This spirit walks with those with Jezebel (spirit of control and rebellion/witchcraft) and who love to be recognized in the congregation (yes they are born again children of the Lord). This spirit comes against those called out of the Lord to true leadership, as was Moses.
They do not come against those who have promoted themselves to leadership in the congregation, but against those with the anointing of spiritual leadership by the calling of the Most High God.
Those that walk with a heart of love and servant-hood, those who are aware that they themselves are nothing and are capable of no good thing, save for Christ Jesus living in them and flowing through them. I perceive that we will see more and more of this spirit manifest as the truly anointed Prophets and Apostles are released from their hidden places.
Manifestations
It is a spirit of spiritual jealousy. It says we are all children of God and who do you think you are? Why should you have the anointing of leadership? Who are you to tell us what to do and what is error? Why should you have anointings that we don't have? It will attempt to dominate the conversation so as to show how spiritual they are and will cut one off and bring the subject back to them selves quickly (this is also a manifestation of the spirit of pride, both in the world and in the church). It will cut off with a glare or an abrupt change in conversation if the one called to leadership dare share what the Lord is doing in and through them, or dare share a revelation. This spirit causes their spiritual hearts and minds to literally close down so that the truth cannot reach them i.e. the things that are shared are met with a blank stare and the question is raised of what are you on about, I know it all!
It walks with the spirit of pride, Leviathan and the spirit of control, Jezebel. It will use words that sound spiritually correct i.e. you lift yourself up and are full of spiritual pride, so as to cut that one called to leadership down. Their words will cut you to the bone and spiritually deeply drain you. Korah did that to Moses so that that great man of God fell on his face!
Num 16:4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face: The best thing to do is to seek the Lord's face for the truth in such an instance, for these spirits are so insidious, that their words seem to be true and yet you must hold onto His truth that the Lord communed directly to your spirit!
Please remember that the spirit manifested in the person and that it had gained entrance though some trauma, abuse and wounding, and it is not the person themselves. It really is possible to love the person but to hate the spirit manifesting through them.
However the Lord recently took me to this scripture for those who are too proud or blind to deal with the wounds and also the spirits operating in and through them; those who choose to have the "protective covering" of demonic spirits (spirits enter through wounds and trauma and the person so afflicted will find spirits of pride, jealousy and control protect those wounds and prevent them from being wounded again) rather then be exposed to truth and to be healed so that they no longer walk in mixture. If these things are not dealt with they will eventually operate in the counterfeit and be so blinded that they are totally unaware of it.
Psa 68:21 But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. 22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea (Leviathan – spirit of pride dwells in the sea) 23 That thy foot may crush them, in blood. And the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies (NKJV) (Jezebel' s blood was licked up by the dogs)
Moses sought the Lord's face to show who was in truth and who was in error.
Num 16:5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
They cannot discern the many membered body of Christ and are not content with their giftings and callings but desire to be in leadership. As a side note, they have not been prepared to suffer isolation, persecution, great loss and long periods of dying to self in the wilderness, that it takes to be prepared for leadership, or the High Calling of the Most High God. They have not paid the cost and yet want the calling. Beloved the greater the calling, the higher the cost!
Your greatest calling is to be in obedience to the Lord, whether you are called to sweep out the church or to be in leadership. Those who humbly and in love, do what He has called them to do, even if it is to sweep, will receive the greater reward. Those who elevate themselves to positions they are not called to by the Spirit, walk in assumption, presumption and *postulation and are in grave danger of having their works burnt as wood, hay and stubble. (*Merriam Websters - Postulate 2 a : to assume or claim as true)
Num 16:6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company; 7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
Num 16:8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi: 9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them? 10 And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
They will murmur against and falsely accuse those called to leadership. They cause division and will draw others who are not in total submission to the Lord and therefore do not recognize His appointed leadership, after them, as Korah drew 250 men of the congregation after him.
Num 16:11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him? 12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up: 13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us? 14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up. 15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
Those that come against the appointed and anointed of the Lord, and against those called to Prophetic and Apostolic leadership, are coming against the Lord Himself, and will in the days to come be in danger of coming under the severe judgment of the Lord (as did Ananias and Sapphira).
28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. 29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. 30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. 31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: 32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
Therefore I implore you Beloveds, come before the Lord with unveiled face and submit to chastisement, healing and deliverance lest you find yourselves working against the next great move of the Lord and His anointed, and remain unaware of it! Worse still, be in danger of missing out on His protection and provision in the coming days of turmoil and finally find yourself cast out with the tares. The days of grace are coming to a close FOR THOSE WHO CONTINUE IN THEIR TRESPASSES. Hear the clarion call of the Lord to cease from your religious labors and sit before Him with an unveiled face so that He may heal and restore you.
His arms are open wide, beckoning you to come to Him and to lay down your earthly wisdom for the carnal mind is at enmity with the things of God. You say but I am not carnally minded, but spiritually minded. The Lord would say to you, when you make a judgment or decision without seeking My face and My Word on it, you are relying on your own wisdom and not Mine, this is when you persecute those whom I have called and I have anointed. Come up higher and discern by My Spirit so that you may walk in unity and that My Glory may be made manifest through My body, upon the face of the earth as the waters cover the sea.

The difference between wheat and a tare is that wheat bows it head and a tare remains upright at harvest time!
