POWER BELONGS TO  GOD ALONE

Ex 4:21 NIV   The LORD said to Moses, "When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I have given you the power to do

Ex 9:16 NIV  But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.

Ex 15:6 NIV  "Your right hand, O LORD, was majestic in power. Your right hand, O LORD, shattered the enemy.

Ex 15:16-18 NIV   terror and dread will fall upon them. By the power of your arm
they will be as still as a stone — until your people pass by, O LORD, until the people you bought pass by.  17 You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of your inheritance — the place, O LORD, you made for your dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, your hands established. 18    The LORD will reign for ever and ever."

Deut 34:12 NIV   For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

Judg 14:6 NIV  The Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power so that he tore the lion apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat. But he told neither his father nor his mother what he had done.

Judg 14:19-20 NIV    Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power. He went down to Ashkelon, struck down thirty of their men, stripped them of their belongings and gave their clothes to those who had explained the riddle. Burning with anger, he went up to his father's house. 20 And Samson's wife was given to the friend who had attended him at his wedding.

Judg 15:14-15 NIV   As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting. The Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands. 15 Finding a fresh jawbone of a donkey, he grabbed it and struck down a thousand men.

1 Sam 10:5-7 NIV    The Spirit of the LORD will come upon you in power, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person. 7 Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.

1 Sam 10:10 NIV   When they arrived at Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him; the Spirit of God came upon him in power,

1 Sam 11:6-7 NIV   When Saul heard their words, the Spirit of God came upon him in power, and he burned with anger. 7 He took a pair of oxen, cut them into pieces, and sent the pieces by messengers throughout Israel, proclaiming, "This is what will be done to the oxen of anyone who does not follow Saul and Samuel." 1 Sam 16:13-14 NIV   So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the LORD came upon David in power. Samuel then went to Ramah.  14  Now the Spirit of the LORD had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD tormented him.

1 Kings 18:46 NIV   The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel. 

2 Kings 17:36-38 NIV    But the LORD, who brought you up out of Egypt with mighty power and outstretched arm, is the one you must worship. To him you shall bow down and to him offer sacrifices. 37 You must always be careful to keep the decrees and ordinances, the laws and commands he wrote for you. Do not worship other gods.

1 Chron 29:11 NIV   Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.

1 Chron 29:12 NIV    Wealth and honor come from you;  you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.

2 Chron 20:6 NIV   and said:  "O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.

2 Chron 20:11-12 NIV    O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you."

2 Chron 25:8 NIV   Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, God will overthrow you before the enemy, for God has the power to help or to overthrow."

2 Chron 32:6-7 NIV   "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him.

Job 9:4 NKJV  God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?

Job 10:16  NIV  If I hold my head high, you stalk me like a lion  and again display your awesome power against me.

Job 12:13 NKJV   "With Him are wisdom and strength,  He has counsel and understanding.

      One of the names of God is El Gibbor – the Mighty One of Israel.

Job 23:6 NKJV Would He contend with me in His great power? No! But He would take note of me.

Job 24:22 NKJV  "But God draws the mighty away with His power; He rises up, but no man is sure of life.

Job 26:12-13 NKJV   He stirs up the sea with His power, And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.  13  By His Spirit He adorned the heavens; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.

Job 26:14 NKJV  Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways, And how small a whisper we hear of Him!  But the thunder of His power who can understand?"

Job 30:18-19 NKJV   By great force my garment is disfigured; It binds me about as the collar of my coat.  19  He has cast me into the mire, And I have become like dust and ashes.

Job 36:22 NKJV  "Behold, God is exalted by His power; Who teaches like Him?

Job 37:23-24 NKJV  As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him; He is excellent in power,
in judgment and abundant justice; He does not oppress.  24 Therefore men fear Him;
He shows no partiality to any who are wise of heart."

Ps 20:6 NKJV   Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.

Ps 63:2 NKJV  So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.

Ps 66:3 NKJV   Say to God, "How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.

Ps 66:7 NKJV  He rules by His power forever; His eyes observe the nations; Do not let the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah 

Ps 68:34 NKJV Ascribe strength to God; His excellence is over Israel, and His strength is in the clouds.

Ps 68:34-35 NIV   Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies.  35  You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.

Isa 40:10 NIV   See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and his arm rules for him.
See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.

Isa 40:26 NKJV  Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these things,
Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might  and the strength of His power; not one is missing.

Isa 40:29-31  NKJV   He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.  30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Jer 10:6-7 NIV    No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. 7 Who should not revere you, O King of the nations?  This is your due. Among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms,  there is no one like you.

Jer 51:15 NKJV   He has made the earth by His power;He has established the world by His wisdom, and stretched out the heaven by His understanding.

Dan 2:20  NKJV   Daniel answered and said: "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His.

Dan 2:23 NKJV   "I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and might, And have now made known to me what we asked of You, For You have made known to us the king's demand."

Luke 21:27 AMP  And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with great (transcendent and overwhelming) power and [all His kingly] glory (majesty and splendor). [Dan 7:13,14.]

Luke 24:49 AMP And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised; but remain in the city [Jerusalem] until you are clothed with power from on high.

John 19:11 AMP   Jesus answered, You would not have any power or authority whatsoever against (over) Me if it were not given you from above. For this reason the sin and guilt of the one who delivered Me over to you is greater.

Acts 1:8 AMP   But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

Acts 4:33 AMP   And with great strength and ability and power the apostles delivered their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace (loving-kindness and favor and goodwill) rested richly upon them all.

Acts 6:8 AMP   Now Stephen, full of grace (divine blessing and favor) and power (strength and ability) worked great wonders and signs (miracles) among the people.

Rom 1:20 AMP   For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification], [Ps 19:1-4.]

Rom 9:22-23 AMP  What if God, although fully intending to show [the awfulness of] His wrath and to make known His power and authority, has tolerated with much patience the vessels (objects) of [His] anger which are ripe for destruction? [Prov 16:4.]
