Romans  8:1   NKJV       Free from Indwelling Sin
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, *who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.*
2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death

No – greek word – NT:3762  oudeis (oo-dice'); including feminine oudemia (oo-dem-ee'-ah); and neuter ouden (oo-den'); from NT:3761 and NT:1520; not even one (man, woman or thing), i.e. none, nobody, nothing:  KJV - any (man), aught, man, neither any (thing), never (man), no (man), none (+of these things), not (any, at all, -thing), nought.

It is like a double negative…not even one…not anyone…absolutely no
The passage between the two astericks was added by the textus receptus when they translated King James.  It was NOT THERE…and is not there in the original GREEK text.

Rom 8:1-2
8:1 Oudén ára nún katákrima toís en Christoó Ieesoú
2 Ho gár nómos toú Pneúmatos teés zooeés en Christoó Ieesoú eeleuthéroosén se apó toú nómou teés hamartías kaí toú thanátou

katakrima   -  condemnation  NT:2631  katakrima (kat-ak'-ree-mah); from NT:2632; an adverse sentence (the verdict):  KJV - condemnation.
               NT:2632  katakrino (kat-ak-ree'-no); from NT:2596 and NT:2919;
to judge against, i.e. sentence: KJV - condemn, damn.

Therefore: NO ULTIMATE PUNISHMENT allotted to the one who is IN CHRIST with NO conditions on it !  Seems the translators could not believe the words of Paul.  Could GOD really be that good ?  Yes, He is.  Does it mean we should go out and sin…NO.

Can GOD require another death from Christ for sins ?  NO, it was finished. HE WAS ALREADY PUNISHED for our sins.  We have to walk by FAITH, not by sight…so we have to BELIEVE it is true if we are IN CHRIST.  If any man be IN CHRIST, behold all things are become NEW.

2 Cor 5:5-10 NKJV    Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. 6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
9 The Judgment Seat of Christ -  Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.

2 Cor 5:5-9 AMP    5 Now He Who has fashioned us [preparing and making us fit] for this very thing is God, Who also has given us the [Holy] Spirit as a guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise]. 6 So then, we are always full of good and hopeful and confident courage; we know that while we are at home in the body, we are abroad from the home with the Lord [that is promised us].  7 For we walk by faith [ we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.  8  [Yes] we have confident and hopeful courage and are pleased rather to be away from home out of the body and be at home with the Lord.
9Therefore, whether we are at home [on earth away from Him] or away from home [and with Him], we are constantly ambitious and strive earnestly to be pleasing to Him.

The ARK of NOAH was a TYPE of the work Christ would do in us.

Gen 6:13-14 NKJV     Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.

OT:3724   kopher (ko'-fer); from OT:3722; properly, a cover, i.e. (literally) a village (as covered in); (specifically) bitumen (as used for coating), and the henna plant (as used for dyeing); figuratively, a redemption-price:  KJV - bribe, camphire, pitch, ransom, satisfaction, sum of money, village.

OT:3725  kippur (kip-poor'); from OT:3722; expiation (only in plural): -atonement.
OT:3722  kaphar (kaw-far'); a primitive root; to cover (specifically with bitumen); figuratively, to expiate or condone, to placate or cancel:  KJV - appease, make (an atonement, cleanse, disannul, forgive, be merciful, pacify, pardon, purge (away), put off, (make) reconcile (-liation).

God promises to do this for us by His redemptive work of the cross. HE IS THE COVERING – the ATONEMENT for our sins. His work annulled our punishment for ALL the sins we commit.  We are FREE by the blood of the LAMB.  We are NOT free so we can SIN more abundantly.  We are not to trample on the grace given us.  But when we stumble along in our journey to wholeness, we are not condemned if we sin on the way to perfection.  WE ARE FREE from the law of sin and death !
