2. Happening by a fortunate or lucky chance. 3. Fortunate or lucky.
“Many of you beloveds are looking for fortuitous advice instead of My wisdom. Many are looking to signs but then take everything as a sign which may not be a sign. Perception is in the eye of the beholder some say. But there is an inner witness to those things I bring as a sign. There is a stirring of the spirit within you when it is from me. Unfortuneatly the enemy is a good counterfeiter and can also bring an emotional thrill to wrong and fortuitous advice or signs which is NOT from me. So look in these time to ME as the ultimate voice.
Listen for the still small voice. Do not take everything you hear to be a sign. WEIGH the signs and wonders even as you would weigh visions and dreams to know the true source.
For in this hour there is much deception because of the evil and violence growing in the earth. YOU who have your house built on the SOLID ROCK will stand. But if you build on sand you will be washed away in the storms of life. Compare MY WORD to what you hear. Does it make sense with WHO I AM ? Does it fit with biblical PRINCIPLES ?
There are many seducing spirits sent out in this hour to try to confuse My beloveds. But if you will wait on ME, and not move in presumption or compulsivity, then all will be well.
Keep your heart from delusion and deception by keeping in the Word, and keeping in intimacy with ME. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE for My presence. You will stay grounded in the secret place of the Most HIGH. Worship ME in the beauty of Holiness and know that I am found in the still small voice. It is in quietness and rest that I am easier to hear. So rest in My arms as you seek My face. Know that I will not push you unless you have been rebellious or there is an urgency to the matter. As with Joseph when he needed to take Mary and Jesus to EGYPT, so in such circumstances only will I speak in a more urgent way.
Keep YOUR MIND STAYED ON ME.
I will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on ME. TAKE EVERY THOUGHT captive to the Lord Jesus CHRIST. Know also that I am FOR you not AGAINST you. If you remain in ME, then I will remain in you ! My sheep hear My voice and they follow ME. Love one another as I have loved you, by this all men will know, you belong to ME. ”
James 3:13-18 NKJV Heavenly Versus Demonic Wisdom
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom . 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
1 John 4:1-6 AMP
1 BELOVED, DO not put faith in every spirit, but prove (test) the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world.
2 By this you may know (perceive and recognize) the Spirit of God: every spirit which acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [actually] has become man and has come in the flesh is of God [has God for its source];
3 And every spirit which does not acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh [but would annul, destroy, sever, disunite Him] is not of God [does not proceed from Him]. This [nonconfession] is the [spirit] of the antichrist, [of] which you heard that it was coming, and now it is already in the world.
4 Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.
5 They proceed from the world and are of the world; therefore it is out of the world [its whole economy morally considered] that they speak, and the world listens (pays attention) to them.
6 We are [children] of God. Whoever is learning to know God [progressively to perceive, recognize, and understand God by observation and experience, and to get an ever-clearer knowledge of Him] listens to us; and he who is not of God does not listen or pay attention to us. By this we know (recognize) the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error.
