Isa 17:11-14 AMP And in the day of your planting you hedge it in, and in the morning you make your seed to blossom, yet [ promising as it is] the harvest shall be a heap of ruins and flee away in the day of expected possession and of desperate sorrow and sickening, incurable pain. 12 Hark, the uproar of a multitude of peoples! They roar and thunder like the noise of the seas! Ah, the roar of nations! They roar like the roaring of rushing and mighty waters!
13 The nations will rush and roar like the rushing and roaring of many waters--but [God] will rebuke them, and they will flee far off and will be chased like chaff on the mountains before the wind, and like rolling thistledown or whirling dust of the stubble before the storm. 14 At evening time, behold, terror! And before the morning, they [the terrorizing Assyrians] are not. This is the portion of those who strip us [the Jews] of what belongs to us, and the lot of those who rob us. “There is a desperation that leads to seeking. There is a desperation I am allowing because it leads to looking upward. From whence comes your help oh ISRAEL ? Is it not from the Lord Almighty ? Is it not I that pleads with you ? Is it not I that you have abandoned through your idolatries ? Yet I have promised that I will not slumber nor sleep. And I have set many watchmen on your walls throughout the nations. I am sending you prophets and apostles to work signs and wonders.

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? 2 My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
Look how the nations rage and lift their voices against you. The desperation I am putting in you is so that you will seek MY FACE above all political solutions, above all economic solutions. Look at all that is arrayed against you.
You cannot survive unless you seek My face and know that in the end, I AM YOUR ONLY HOPE. I am your Abba and I have loved you with an everlasting love, yet for My love, you spurned My Son. For My re-gathering you, many have not yet learned to LOVE your enemies, or to carry your cross.
Yet now I will gather you into MY ARMS and carry you on My shoulders that you might understand MY WISDOM. I will pour out revelation where it is least expected. I will display My power as the sun sets. Yet for a time you will be repelled and pummeled by circumstances and threats. I WILL finish My work in you. I will have a HUMBLE people, who will cast ALL their cares upon ME. For I have loved you and been kind to you and restored much of what was lost. Now they have taken away your boundaries, and beset you with hatred and atrocities. For they think I have even abandoned you. But I HAVE NOT ABANDONED YOU. I have only made you DESPERATE that you would cry out to ME, that I might display MY MIGHT and MY POWER in your midst.
You will believe as I release My ancient prophets and My apostles of love ! You will believe and you will bow, and you will know that I ALONE AM GOD, and that MY SON paid the price for your rebellion against ME. Your youth will be gathered into My arms, for I have set My heart upon them and My hand will be heavy upon them, though you will hate them and abuse them, and murder them, I WILL appoint them as counselors. Yes , you will know that the Almighty is in your midst.”
