This above left is what I saw years ago in the Tustin Vineyard moving back and forth in front of the pastor trying to interfere with how we heard his message. The Lord told me it was a deaf and dumb spirit. I prayed and it disappeared.
Overcoming Deaf & Dumb Spirits

2 Tim 4:1-5 NKJV I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word ! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
There was a word given to me in 2002 called Itching Ears and the Lord said at that time,
"Many are already to the point of not wanting to hear anything about God.
The days have come when men will not endure sound teaching...because they
Have formed Me into the image THEY want. Aberrance is more common than
Sound doctrine. Everyone wants to add their opinion instead of MINE. They
Won't even come to ME to find out what I think. Many just don't have time
For ME anymore. They are too busy, or too complacent or apathetic to the
Needs that surround them. Or they are too overwhelmed with it all, that
They just ignore it, instead of coming to Me to find out what I WANT.
John 5:38-45 NKJV But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. 41 I do not receive honor from men. 42 But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. 44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?

Needs to be. I AM ALMIGHTY GOD...THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, yet some think that when they come together to worship, that I can stand outside then door. They don't want me interfering in their order. For others it's a social amenity.
Yet, I came so that men could have LIFE and life abundantly. How will they
Have it if you do not let the Lord of Life into your meetings...because you
Have your own agendas and your OWN order? Blind guides are filling up the pulpits, in pretense many who attend the meetings, think that they fulfill some obligation to ME by showing up. Then the rest of the week I am a byword, assigned to the closet like a neglected child. I AM THE LORD OF GLORY. I WILL HAVE MY WAY IN MY CHURCH AND IN THE WORLD. GREAT DARKNESS IS COMING...yet many go on blithely, as if this is just another day - BUSINESS AS USUAL. Noah would be in familiar company.
So I admonish you to NOW come and buy from Me gold refined in the fire,
That you may be rich ; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that
The shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with

Fear also leads to unbelief, so if we fill our lives with only the bad reports, and bad news, some of which is not even correct but lies and manipulations, and the ways of the world, then it is easily to become discouraged or fearful, both of which can lead to a downward spiral and give place for such demons to work in our lives, which we don’t want.

Pat Gastenau says in her article: “…work of this particular entity as it has worked with the spirit of religion to dull the fire of true Christianity. Its distinct purpose is to immobilize the Church spiritually by clouding our perception, blunting our alertness and keeping us slightly off target. There are spiritual effects, mental and emotional effects, and physical effects. The main target of this spirit is toward the mind, dulling the mental and emotional realm in order to curb spiritual movement and growth. The usual damage that we all observe is dullness and spiritual slumber.

In H A Baker’s book Visions behind the Veil, he describes how when the revival among the children came, some children had trouble staying awake in prayer, and how certain other children with gift of seeing in the spirit saw demons on or near those children sleeping and they literally chased them out of the meeting.

In my own marriage to my ex husband I found that it manifested with changing the way we heard things said from each other, so that it was trying to cause stress and strife. Both of us were traumatized in childhood, so had them, and so the demons were trying to divide us, because in a marriage, praying together, worshipping together is a powerful tool against the enemy. And since my husband was a worship leader, and songwriter, and God when He baptized me in the spirit also gave me song lyrics and eventually the music also, it was trying to keep us from our destiny in leading others in worship too.
When I went to India, I saw so many people affected by this spirit because of the IDOLATRY. Blindness, and deaf & dumbness are consequences of idolatry.

There is a spirit that operates with that stronghold whose goal and function is to make you spiritually and physically deaf and dumb so that you cannot hear the voice of God and receive revelation. It will make you dumb so that you cannot understand the truth of God's word, or what the Spirit is saying. This spirit is connected to learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder (ADD), dyslexia, memory conditions, concentration, spiritual deafness, and physical deafness. As I have shared this message in different places, we have had all kinds of testimonies of people with a spirit of insanity, madness, manic-depressive, and bipolar set free and delivered. One example is a boy in Indiana who had dyslexia. I prayed for him and the power of God hit his body and caused an electric shock to go off in the back of his brain. The next day he was miraculously able to read. We have seen people's memory restored instantly that had been lost for years. Ninety percent of the cases of healings in deafness that we have seen have taken place as I shared this message.”…
Thus our idolatry leads to unbelief and deaf & dumb spirits controlling us.
Sandy Warner shared a dream which is instructive: She’d been searching about digging wells of salvation/awakening/revival. She quoted Todd, then said…“….In that dream I had revisited the pool of my childhood home, which is also in the same town as the conference. (It is interesting to note that in real life, when this pool was being dug, it filled up by an underground artesian spring, three times.)
In the dream, the pool was gone and had been covered over with landscaping. We wanted the pool back so we took away the dirt. After the dirt was removed, I was very blessed to realize the Lord had protected the pool, for there was a huge covering over the pool made from one piece of plywood cut to its exact shape. (It is also an interesting parable that in real life, our pool shape was the shape of a kidney, and kidneys filter toxins, which keep our bodies from being poisoned.
This cap represented a sealing to filter the dirt and keep the water pure.) This piece of plywood was perfectly cut in one huge piece, which was obviously supernatural since they do not make plywood that size in real life. In the dream I realized the pool was like an old well that had been capped over. The Lord obviously knew the new owners in the dream wanted to bury the pool in dirt, so He had sealed it.
In the next scene I looked up and was startled to see that the sky had been covered over with some kind of dome so there was no more open heaven to swim under. At that point, I saw two people talking to each other who in real life are both carnally minded and they speak with filthy mouths. They were standing there as though claiming squatter's rights. I had the feeling they were somehow responsible for covering the pool with dirt. They of course speak of the demonic forces that come to take squatter's rights in our spiritual wells because of compromising carnal choices.”
More from Sandy: Someone had also mentioned to me that the town's intercessors were having trouble with mental confusion and forgetfulness and she also mentioned that the town had just built a facility for Alzheimer's patients. Through prior revelation given to us in the 80's we knew that the deaf and dumb spirit causes these symptoms, especially lack of hearing and understanding the Lord. So we prayed against it. I felt that this was somehow related to my not hearing the Lord as freely. A few days later another intercessor from a different town called me saying that she was having problems with confusion and memory. She also mentioned that a gal with Attention Deficit Disorder asked her several times what they were in line for while standing in a prayer line.
Sandy was trying to search out how to dig a well – for more of the water of the Lord to flow through an area. She got some revelation on digging a well, and the pick axes used in digging well are like prayer and worship…
“Angels are working through from the other side, to reach us, as we cry out to hear, to see, to understand what the Lord is speaking. They are working hard to break through the barriers, as we declare that the heavens will be opened and the Word of the Lord will come and go freely in Jesus Name. Angels are working on the other side, as we bind the deaf and dumb spirit over our areas and loose the angels to go forth. (Binding the enemy does not take him down or pull down a high place, but it temporarily restrains him and allows angelic activity to move forward. All believers have the authority to bind the enemy in Jesus Name.) ….“Also as intercessors begin to cry out for open heavens, they are like the excavators working on opposite sides. One day they will connect pick to pick and the double portion waters will freely flow. Hallelujah!” end quote
In the example of those with foul mouths…The devil is a legalist, so any area of your life where you are not walking in holiness, or the will of the Lord, is like giving him an open door to your soul, your home, your lives.
ALL of us have open doors, until we’re perfect like Jesus which usually isn’t till heaven. So we go through stuff, like spiritual attacks. But sin alone is not responsible for all attacks. The enemy doesn’t need to attack anyone who is prideful and arrogant, because he already has them. He attacks the intercessors, the warriors, the worshippers, the evangelists, prophets, apostles, teachers or anyone who is really sharing His Word and building GOD’s Kingdom. Anyone who makes a dent in the enemy’s kingdom on earth is a threat.
Thus if you do nothing to expand His Kingdom in the earth, satan has no need to bother you, you’re already living for self which is the standard of His throne and kingdom. God’s Kingdom is based on LOVE, not self. It’s about Yah’s way not your way.
God gave us tools to expose the darkness, and to confront the darkness, and to overcome it. The WORD was what Jesus used in the desert fasting to rebuke the enemy. So it should also be a powerful weapon in our hands if we keep reading and studying it. And thus deaf and dumb spirits try to keep us from it, or understanding it, so we will not succeed in our destiny to be like Jesus. There are times when it has been SO hard for me to read the word, due to opposition within or without, that I couldn’t read, but I’d listen. Or there have been times when I could only read Psalms.
There are times when I’ve not been able to worship as I used to dancing and waving flags, singing to the Lord, due to witchcraft attacks, but I kept the worship on and sang, though I seemingly for a couple years could not dance or feel joyful in doing it. That’s called a sacrifice of praise! You do it anyway, even though you don’t feel like it. Our emotions should not govern us. You don’t have to give in to every thought or feeling. We HAVE TO TAKE EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE.
I’ve been going through a battle with deaf n dumb spirits when I posted four series of talks on Worship & Social Justice. My ears got infected maybe from swimming in the pool, though I’ve never had that experience before, plus I’ve felt PRESSURE on my ears. I’m interceding for a neighbor and others all the time, who have issues related to this, but with the neighbor, he is homosexual, and claims Jesus. So I’ve tried to help him when I can. I’ve let him know my own stance on his lifestyle.
But he has major deaf and dumb spirits because he has trouble understanding, and asks things over and over. So I know he is bound. Also he admitted he was sexually abused as child. He is very emotionally broken. He had a rough father, and a kind mom, and there were other children, and his mom had to support them all when dad left. So not an easy life by any means. Lots of rejection on him too. So in standing in the gap with him, I am also engaging these spirits. When you intercede for others you are literally taking on these spirits with them or for them.
Now Todd and Sandy mentioned that UNBELIEF was the culprit and over that was the Deaf and Dumb. And if you talk to people with deaf and dumb spirits you will see an association with lack of faith that God will come through for them. That’s really important because when I listened to a movie years back called Zeitgeist, a huge spirit of unbelief came into the room and it was so powerful in its’ suggestions in my mind, trying to influence me to think wrongly, and God told me that spirit is the spirit of this age, for it says, when He returns will He find FAITH on earth. Opposite to faith is unbelief. So it’s going to take Holy Spirit power to break through any of what is covering the ears of the people from understanding and believing is another thing. That spirit was injecting many other thoughts in my head that I recognized as lies, about belief in Jesus, trying to discredit the bible’s truths.
We all have areas of unbelief in our hearts, that God works on bit by bit, to remove. It can be attached from hurt and pain in our lives, and cause us to think God rejects us because those things happened, but He may have never been called on when it happened. Or we may have been immature in the things of the Lord even in our Christian walk, or an unbeliever at the time, that we didn’t understand spiritual warfare and how to rout the enemy, and sometimes that takes help of other believers anyway, as you can’t do everything alone. No man is an island. And the Word says that a man who isolates himself is a fool. We need other Christians in our lives as we all have different gifts, and we need each other to pray with, to fellowship with, to grow with, to discern with, to share experiences with.

The Author states “ The problem is not just the enemy can interfere with what we hear; he actually manipulates the pathways of thought at the cerebral level. He is able to scramble our mind. As a result, when we talk to someone, he may hear just the opposite of what we said. This can happen when you read someone a scripture and he hears just the opposite of what you read. Have you ever had a scrambler messing up your mind? That's why when you're ministering, you don't minister alone. If there's a scrambler in that person, they're going to come back and say, "You said this." But the truth is, you didn't say that or you didn't mean it that way. Now it's your word against their word. You need a witness. That's why you should not minister alone. Find someone to work with you and better still, train them to minister. That way you can switch back and forth…” end quote
On top of that with those who have disabilities, there is actual damage to pathways in the brain, and there are those problems due to brain damage from heavy metals.
When I was in Romania, I met girls who had been born with fetal alcohol syndrome because moms drank and made hootch in lead pots, which also meant besides damage from alcohol, they had high levels of lead. This can cause abberant behaviors, of anger, rage, and the like. Our babies are assaulted with so many vaccines – something like 60 by the time they are 4-6 yrs old, and those vaccines have contained squalene and mercury in the form of thimerisol which also can cause inflammatory brain reactions, brain damage and changes. Heavy metals from metal fillings in teeth from dentists have also caused damage in people for years. There is trauma behind all this and it can be another open door to deaf and dumb spirits, not just physical damage.
Now deaf and dumb spirits are also attached to spirits of TRAUMA. The author of this article below talks about an occult connection - remember idolatry is cause for this spirit’s attack and trauma. I once saw when praying for someone who had deafness, a swarm of deaf and dumb spirits that had come at her from a witch.
He says“…Trauma can be a catalyst for the deaf and dumb spirit because of the freezing up due to fear which can lead to programming your body to be conditioned that way maybe.”
He talks about how the spies went in from Moses’ camp to see what the inhabitants of the land were like and they came back with unbelief, doubt and skepticism out of fear.
He says “…“Fear” we know is a spirit a part of the body of sin, whose desire it to pull you into sin and make you feel powerless to break free, that’s why every time your about to get free it pulls back to strike and make you afraid even more than you can’t be free.”
Talking about those who spied out the land for Moses, “Fear and unbelief, froze them up, like a deer in the headlights. Oh, no there are too big. Well, our GOD is bigger. Fear and unbelief wants to freeze you up so you won’t move, so that you won’t see or understand, therefore you are operating in a deaf and dumb spirit.
I was just talking to my wife and wondering about things we encounter where the truth is known and spoken but not acted on and God told me it was the “spirit of occult” blinding them with a “deaf and dumb spirit.”
He further states: “Matriarchal [pris: or patriarchal] witchcraft [control] is a form of occult, a false covering, or to obscure or cover the truth.” A lot of people struggle because they are under a false covering of the spirit of occultism, through a witchcraft or controlling spirit. and they don’t know, the Satan has blinded their minds or covers their eyes from the truth, with the “deaf and dumb spirit.”
Again the author says: “Love has faith, selfishness has fear, …The bible says in the last days people will increase in false self love, who will be lovers of themselves and will be easily offended because of the false self love. …Disembodied spirits are self-ish or self-like, they want a body but can’t have one, so they covet…, when someone acts self-ish, they are not loving themselves as Jesus commands. They are being like demon spirits who have false self love. True self love will prefer others above yourself and serve others, self-like spirit will seek to horde stuff and defend. Does that make sense?” end of quotes

This for me also brings up the issue with the Occult, Buddhism and Hinduism, Islam - spiritism type religions. They are based on IDOLATRY to lesser gods, like ancestors and demons so inherent in that, despite their “good works” philosophy, there is the curse of God still on them for it. The reason I fit Islam with them, is the revelation came from a LYING angel of darkness. We know this by the nature of what it teaches conflicting with a God of love. It is more like a religious spirit. Satan comes as an angel of light it says in scripture. Mohammed got all his “revelations” after epileptic seizures. So that tells you deaf and dumb spirits were involved, and divination.
When I was in India I encountered many children with deaf & dumb spirits, that we cast out. And God did it miraculously, as they had inherited those spirits due to the idolatry in their families. The first one happened when speaking in a small village. In such villages they have a small 1-2 person temple which was there, and near it a platform for town meetings. Next to that was a huge statue of Haniman, the monkey-half man god of hinduism.
The moment I got out of the car, there was a huge demonic presence that made me react in my spirit man. Then as we worshipped, [mostly children and women at first] I still was feeling head pressure, and the Lord said to me stand up and dance! So I did that, and the children suddenly followed suit and danced too, and then suddenly after a while, all the heaviness from occult/death spirits lifted! Everyone was praising and dancing. Praise the Lord.
After testifying, the first one in line or maybe he was second, was a boy who was born deaf and dumb. He’d never heard or spoken. The Holy Spirit came on me with the Spirit of Might and I rebuked a deaf and dumb spirit, and tongues came out with HEY! HEY! HEY! and I sensed that spirit leaving, and I asked Krupa to make him mimic words she spoke and he did it immediately! It was astounding! That happened many more times while in India.
When I went to Hawaii, to go with my daughter in law’s family to bury her dad who was Buddhist, I started praying, ahead of course, but the night of the funeral service and dinner, the Buddhist bishop complained that he was having trouble with his hearing, and I asked him how long was it a problem? He said, “the last three days.” [ Our exact time on the island ]. I reached out like to offer to pray, and he backed off quickly refusing any prayer. By then he knew I was a Christian. It seemed to me that the presence of God in me had stirred up the demons, and they attacked him. [ like what are you doing letting her in here ! That night I was attacked in the hotel room where I was sleeping with her mom, and her dad’s ashes were also in the room, with a snake like spirit crawling up my back. I literally felt a creepy snake like thing going up my back and woke up just in time to rebuke it. Thank you God !
Spirits of slumber will attack your ability to DO anything also and will come through association with Buddhism/Hinduism spirits/ yoga… or new age which is actually Hinduism in a new package where self can be god. So be aware that deaf and dumb is really strong in congregations largely asian along with those spirits of slumber where generational curses are not routed, or there is lack of deliverance ministry. The old kundalini snake does not want to let go easily and brings with it multitudes of spirits. God is GREATER, so believe as you come against these spirits, the LORD WILL DELIVER and HEAL.
My mom was into new age, so when I started fasting for her, suddenly my son got sick the second day, and I KNEW it was a spirit causing it, so prayed for him and he got well immediately. But towards end of the week I took my mom to cardiologist, and found out that since I started fasting she was getting heart pain symptoms, and doc wanted her to go in hospital, but she didn’t want to, so came home with meds. Not wanting her to die without chance to repent, especially, I prayed but didn’t know how, cause she was very bitter and hateful towards God.
So I asked Holy Spirit and He said to pray in tongues quietly and did that for about an hour, then left to do something else, and when she got up she no longer had chest pain. Those spirits had been bound and I’m certain some of them took off as she got better for a time after that.
The word says:
Ps 115:4-8 NKJV 4 Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men's hands. 5 They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see; 6 They have ears, but they do not hear; Noses they have, but they do not smell; 7 They have hands, but they do not handle; Feet they have, but they do not walk; Nor do they mutter through their throat. 8 Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them.
Here we see the curse at work, those who offer incense to idols are like the idol itself. They cannot hear, nor perceive, nor understand, nor walk straight spiritually, nor speak effectually, and God says, everyone who trust in those idols will be like them. The Lord also says that a backslider will be filled with his own ways. He will be doing only what HE wants, his desires is all he will care for. This is self idolatry.
Tradition and RELIGIOUS Spirits
Todd says this in his article:
“The dumb spirit affects your ability to understand revelation. It makes you spiritually dumb, so that you cannot understand the revelation of the spirit of wisdom and revelation. It affects your ability to understand the Bible. It is like a big parable to you. It affects your ability to understand mysteries. It affects your ability to understand, hear and receive spiritual revelation and truth. When you are deaf and dumb in the spirit, you have nothing to say. So there is a form of godliness, denying the power.
The kingdom of God in word only. Organized religion, denominationalism, and tradition and programs. We do what we do now because we have done it for the last ten years. We talk about power, but we do not see any. We talk about what we did 20 years ago, but we do not see anything. We talk about the truth of the gospel and proclaim that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, but we do not see anything. We are hearers, and not doers. We want to be doers, but we know there is a place that we are not getting the revelation in our heart that God wants us to have. We are truly hungry for revelation, but there is an assignment to make us deaf. And we see it in the North American church. It is shown in the bible, and it is connected to unbelief.”
Sexually Broken People
There is a link to homosexuals or anyone sexually broken of having deaf and dumb because a huge percent of them have been sexually abused so trauma came early for many of them, and with it rejection that is so severe, that brings anger and rebellion, defensive pride, and self preservation, and lifting up self in defense of all the evil done. Therefore Jezebel spirit is strong in them, focus on self, and a me, myself and I mentality. There is strong anxiety & drivenness, as many are raised with perfectionism.
This also brings up alcoholic homes, and all abused by alcoholic parents, because you will see often a tie in to ADD and ADHD with parents who abused alcohol and also the perfectionistic spirit. Addictions are idolatry, and so bring the same deaf and dumb spirits trying to blind the victim even more. My mom’s family had a lot of alcoholism in it due to the mixture with FREEMASONRY. 6 out of the 8 children were alcoholics. There was witchcraft in the family through the worship of other gods through masonry while also my grandfather was a pentacostal holiness preacher who did healing. So a lot of syncretism. There is a lot of syncretism in the church now with people teaching new age and yoga practices in churches, and many compromising the truth. You can’t practice yoga apart from the spirits attached to it despite what some think. Caryl Matriciana speaks of this in her movie on Yoga. It’s well worth seeing.
My mother was scape-goated by the whole family, but it started as a child when she had a prophetic gift and would know when someone was coming over, and my grandma started calling her a witch, which became a self-fulfilling prophecy, as later in life she got into new age and went to Unity School of Divinity. When I had to move in with her due to my husband divorcing me & me being sick with fibro at the time, she was reading Edgar Cayce, a new age healer for those who don’t know who he was. My mom had a lot of bitterness due to all the rejection in the family, and a lot of what I went through came through the generations.
Another thing is that in 8th grade I remember her doing séance with her bowling friends. She was married to a man involved in freemasonry, though Catholic. Because I was home and uncovered in prayer, necromancy was something I had to renounce and threw up, getting rid of that spirit. The deliverance happened during the Toronto movement without anyone even praying for me. Happened on my way home. Had to stop the car as Holy Spirit had His way in delivering me. He showed me I had to renounce it. I don’t remember but maybe I was fascinated by what they were doing, when my mom did that, but séances bring up familiar spirits. So deaf and dumb spirits can also be attached due to divination and such practices which are witchcraft.
Because of my own abuse and the trauma behind it, where witchcraft was involved, I too have been affected by D & D spirits. I always had trouble remembering and in high school I remember we had to memorize portions of Shakespeare and Chaucer, and I would have to repeat it 30 times to get it in me. I had so much trauma and abandonment, there has been much to overcome. And God in His great, great mercy, though I have been such a failure, in so many areas of my life, has given me His wisdom at times, that just blows me away, that He even speaks to me. He gave me beauty for ashes like He says. HE is so amazing and so full of love for us. We have to BELIEVE it to receive it.
Now rebuking demons doesn’t always mean that the person will be healed from the physical damage they have done. Sometimes God does that, but sometimes not right away. You also have to pray for that! You can’t just assume that just because you rebuked something that they are healed. So always ask how someone feels after praying and note changes in behavior. It may take more than one attempt to get at all of them anyhow. God knows it’s taken years for me to get freer. And God is not finished with me. I had the blessing of my surrogate mom who is a trained family therapist/psychologist to do emotional inner healing with me for years. Inner healing uproots the lies you’ve believed about God or yourself, and the unforgiveness, so that demons don’t have any thing to hold on to.
Todd talks in his article about the association of deaf and dumb spirits with spirits of infirmity, and one thing you see with attacks of witchcraft or jezebel control is infirmity [ sickness comes, ie infection ] and mind control, with deaf and dumb spirits to cause confusion. So when you get sick, you need to PRAY FIRST, and ask God what is going on, what to do, not just assume that it’s physical. Jezebelic forces coming from hate, rage and murderous spirits in that entity will cause literal physical pain, as if someone is stabbing you in the chest. Or you will get head pressure that feels like your head will explode. If it’s on top of head, that’s death and destruction coming at you. If it’s back of neck, it’s witchcraft control. You may have feelings of suffocation from the divination that comes from her or any witchcraft too.
When I was in Russia where there is a lot of alcoholism, and therefore controlling spirits on people, not to mention the communism stuff, if someone resisted Holy Spirit, I would put my hand on the back of their neck and begin to rebuke control, and they would get released, and then they would suddenly be able to receive the manifest Holy Spirit, and receive the prophetic anointing God was giving to them.
My own ex husband was raised by an alcoholic father, and both he and his sons had ADD, other son had ADHD. My ex was passed through school, instead of really learning, and when he got saved, a miracle the Lord did for him, was to enable him to read the bible, which was the desire of his heart to read and understand it. He so healed him, and he was so awesome at remembering where things were, if I couldn’t remember where a passage was, he would be able to tell me where it was. God is not limited, HE can heal anything.
This is certainly a promise to all who have been victims of these spirits. GOD is a great Restorer !
Isa 32:1-6 Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, And princes will rule with justice. 2 A man will be as a hiding place from the wind, And a cover from the tempest, As rivers of water in a dry place, As the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. 3 The eyes of those who see will not be dim, And the ears of those who hear will listen. 4 Also the heart of the rash will understand knowledge, And the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly.
There are times when God allows some to go through things, and sometimes what He is doing is symbolically prophetic. Just as in Isaiah’s & Ezekiel’s time, He had Isaiah and others do prophetic actions.

God said there is a blindness on Jewish people because of the curse they brought on themselves when they shouted for Jesus to be crucified, they said, let His blood be on us and our children !
So in order for Jews to come to Jesus, that blindness and deafness needs to be prayed off, repented of. You can identify with them, repenting for them, and ask the Lord to remove the blindness and deafness.
Isa 33:15-16 NKJV 5 He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly,
He who despises the gain of oppressions, Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes, Who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, And shuts his eyes from seeing evil: 16 He will dwell on high; His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks; Bread will be given him, His water will be sure.
It goes on to say He will see the King in His glory! So if we want that, we too need to walk in the light as He is in the light and keep from ungodly attitudes, like lust, hatred, violence.
1 Sam 15:23 NKJV 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king."
The Lord once told me that the highest form of witchcraft is MURDER.
So when our hearts are full of hatred or anger, we are walking in witchcraft.
1 Cor 10:14-17,19-22 NKJV 14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say. 16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17 For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread…19 What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? 20 Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons. 22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?
This is exactly what Freemasons do for example when they come to church on Sunday and portend love for Jesus, but then go to the lodge and do rituals that glorify Anubis, Horus, Baphomet, Allah, Buddha, etc. They are drinking from the cup of Christ and the cup of demons.
Gal 5:19-21 NKJV 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,* fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,* drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Syncretism will not allow you to inherit the Kingdom of God this says.
Col 3:5-7 NKJV Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
You cannot practice yoga or reiki and astrology and also call yourself a Christian. YOU CANNOT MIX CHRISTIANITY WITH BUDDHISM, HINDUISM, NEW AGE AND WITCHCRAFT.
I once met two young warlocks down at the coffee shop and the one boasted that his grandmother was the head witch over the brotherhood which is a huge satanic group. And both the boys said their grandmothers/mothers went to churches. One a Methodist church.
Isa 57:13 NKJV 13 When you cry out, Let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry them all away, A breath will take them. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, And shall inherit My holy mountain."
We must be single eyed to have AUTHORITY over demons. Mountains stand for authority. Yet a new believer has more authority than most think they have because of the blood of JESUS through His justification.
Ps 24:3-5 NKJV Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
The more we die to self and give our lives to Christ Jesus, & the more healing and deliverance we get, we grow in authority, wisdom, love, etc. Sanctification is gradual. We go from grace to grace, and glory to glory. But it’s not by manipulation. We can’t manipulate God with our prayers or anything. God is sovereign.
Acts 7:41-43 NKJV And they made a calf in those days, offered sacrifices to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. 42 Then God turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the Prophets: 'Did you offer Me slaughtered animals and sacrifices during forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel? 43 You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, images which you made to worship; And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.'*
God changes not, He is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Only the blood of JESUS, makes us blameless in His sight. In Romans it talks about those who through their own idolatry, are led away and HE gives them over to perversion, men sleeping with men, and women sleeping with women, due to idolatry! This is much like the above.
God wants to be our FIRST LOVE, not our afterthought.
Seek first the Kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness and all these things will be added to you. You will have all you need.
Prayer
Father, I lift up to you now, anyone reading this, who has been troubled by deaf and dumb spirits. I bind all deaf and dumb spirits over them and ask that You will deliver them from all evil, that You will restore to them the fullness of their inheritance in YOU. I pray You will breathe the breath of life into them, and destroy any strongholds over their minds, that conflict with the truth of Your Word. I rebuke all deaf and dumb spirits and command them to GO in the name and blood of JESUS ! I rebuke any deaf and dumb spirit that came through witchcraft or the occult, through false religions or through generational spirits of unbelief, or fear, or through trauma. I rebuke and deaf and dumb spirits that came through religious spirits, through judgments of others or word curses in JESUS’ name. Go to the feet of Jesus, and HE will tell you where to go. You cannot return and torment this child of God anymore, In Jesus’ name.
