JOEL 2….
Joel 2:1 BLOW THE trumpet in Zion;
sound an alarm on My holy Mount [Zion].
Let all the inhabitants of the land
tremble, for the day of [the judgment
of] the Lord is coming; it is close at

2 Also, son of man, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.
3 Now is the end upon you, and I will send My anger upon you and will judge you according to your ways and will bring upon you retribution for all your abominations.
4 And My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring recompense for your evil ways upon you, while your abominations are in the midst of you [calling down punishment from a righteous God]; and you shall know (recognize, understand, and realize) that I am the Lord.

Ez 7:11-12 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them. 12 The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
Amos 5:16-20 AMPC
16 Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the Lord: There shall be wailing in all the broad ways, & in all the streets they shall say, Alas! Alas! And they shall call the farmers to mourning & such as are skilled in lamentation to wailing. 17 And in all vineyards there shall be wailing, for I will pass through the midst of you, says the Lord. 18 Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you want the day of the Lord? It is darkness and not light; 19 It is as if a man fled from a lion &a bear met him, or went into the house &leaned with his hand against the wall &a serpent bit him. 20 Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, not light? Even very dark with no brightness in it?
Therein is a lesson for the prophets who are not like Moses who was the most humble man, for he went back up the mountain & fasted another 40 days, something most of us would not do in this age, when his people had transgressed.
The prophet who sees judgment coming, hears it is coming should NOT be like JONAH. But more like Abraham or Moses.
Joel 2:2 A day of darkness & gloom, a day of clouds & of thick mists & darkness, like the morning dawn spread upon the mountains; so there comes a [heathen, hostile] people numerous & mighty, the like of which has never been before & shall not be again even to the years of many generations.
Joel 2:3 A fire devours before them, & behind them a flame burns; the land is as the garden of Eden before them, & behind them a desolate wilderness; yes, & none has escaped [the ravages of the devouring hordes].
Joel 2:4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses, & like war horses & horsemen, so do they run. 5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of the mountains they leap–like the noise of a flame of fire devouring the stubble, like a mighty people set in battle array. [Rev. 9:7, 9 – see above]
Joel 2:6 Before them the peoples are in anguish; all faces become pale. 7 They run like mighty men; they climb the wall like men of war. They march each one [straight ahead] on his ways, & they do not break their ranks. 8 Neither does one thrust upon another; they walk every one in his path. And they burst through upon the weapons, yet they are not wounded & do not change their course.

a thief.
Joel 2:10 The earth quakes before them;
the heavens tremble. The sun & the moon
are darkened & the stars withdraw their

Revelation 16:14 AMPC 14 For really they
are the spirits of demons that perform signs
(wonders, miracles). And they go forth to the rulers & leaders all over the world, to gather them together for war on the great day of God the Almighty.
Joel 2:11 And the Lord utters His voice before His army, for His host is very great, & [they are] strong & powerful who execute [God's] word. For the day of the Lord is great & very terrible, & who can endure it? [Isa. 26:20, 21; 34:1-4, 8; Rev. 6:16, 17.]
This always bothered me, calling it the Lord’s army, but He does use demonic beings to carry out His judgments often. Thus whirlwinds, tornadoes, etc often are of demonic origin, & witches & warlocks also call upon these powers to cause havoc.
Thus we have to pray when we see such things coming, if it is the Lord’s will or that of the enemy so we know how to pray.
Isaiah 26:20 AMPCCome, my people, enter your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the [Lord’s] wrath is past. 21For behold, the Lord is coming out of His place [heaven] to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also will disclose the blood shed upon her & will no longer cover her slain & conceal her guilt.
Revelation 6:16-17 AMPC And they called to the mountains & the rocks, Fall on (before) us & hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne & from the deep-seated indignation & wrath of the Lamb. 17 For the great day of His wrath (vengeance, retribution, indignation) has come, & who is able to stand before it?
The Lord calls, COME &
SEE, PAY ATTENTION
TO WHAT I DO NOW!
He has now arisen in
this to mete out His
judgments on the wicked.
The great & terrible
day of the Lord is NOT
something to be mocked
or taken lightly. This IS
the intention of the Lord
to deal with all the
wicked, the PRIDEFUL of the earth who scoff at Him & His laws. He has a lot to say throughout the Word about the prideful, those who will not bow to Him. They will bow or be killed as this shows. Men will even cry out for the rocks to fall on them rather than be dealt with by the Lord! I do believe God lead me to these scriptures in Joel to sober up our perspective on where we are at, & to cry out for us to Worship & Pray for judgments are imminent on the wicked.
Even if we have longed to see these in our secret place in our hearts, we will be stunned to see the actual severity of it all. Like Miriam & Moses who watched the sea close in on the soldiers of Egypt.
It is devastating to watch even though they have been our enemies for all human life is valuable & precious to the Lord our Creator God.
ALL HE HAS CREATED IS PRECIOUS TO HIM. SEEING THE LION DEATH WAS HORRIBLE TO THINK THEY HAVE ALSO GIVEN THESE DEATH JABS TO THE ANIMALS JUST LIKE US & THE CHILDREN. THEY HAVE NO LOVE FOR GOD, ONLY HATE & ARROGANCE.
HARARI is one of those spoken about in Revelation where it says I will make those who say they are Jews, but are NOT, {not practicing believers} to come & bow down before you & know that I have loved you. Think on that, because we are THERE. They think they are ‘gods’, & like their master Lucifer, better than our God Almighty. They absolutely hate Him & us. Jesus said, they hated Him & they will also will hate you.
Joel 2:12 Therefore also now, says the Lord, turn & keep on coming to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, & with mourning [until every hindrance is removed & the broken fellowship is restored]. Joel 2:13 Rend your hearts & not your garments & return to the Lord, your God, for He is gracious & merciful, slow to anger, & abounding in loving-kindness; & He revokes His sentence of evil [when His conditions are met].
It is time to turn to the Lord, for all on the earth. Judgments are here & the earth is in turmoil as He said it would be. Time to rend our hearts, & not pretend we are ok because we go to church. Jesus said, Be gone from Me for I never knew you to many in the end, because even though they did ministry & cast out demons, & healed the sick, they did not spend time in relationship with Him, & many did not even know His heart of compassion. Religious spirits abound. He said, unless your righteousness is greater than that of the pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven!
We need to ask for the GRACE to repent. For it is a loving God who shows us our lack & sin. Without His grace we are blind to our own sins. When the glory comes, one of the first signs is that we become way more sensitive to the realization of our sin, our lack compared to His holiness vs always pointing out that of others!
Joel 2:14 Who knows but what He will turn, revoke your sentence [of evil], & leave a blessing behind Him [giving you the means with which to serve Him], even a cereal or meal offering & a drink offering for the Lord, your God?
AMEN! God will certainly forgive those who have been blinded by pride or other wicked bindings of the enemy.
Joel 2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion; set apart a fast [a day of restraint & humility]; call a solemn assembly. 16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation; assemble the elderly people, gather the children & the nursing infants; let the bridegroom [who is legally exempt from attending] go forth from his chamber & the bride out of her closet. [None is exempt from the humiliation.]
ALL are called to participate in setting themselves apart in humility to seek the Lord, to fast, pray & Worship, seeking His presence & guidance. This should be the agenda for many now in the church gatherings. We should be seeking HIS VOICE, not just wanting to hear our own voices as leaders.
Joel 2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch & the altar; & let them say, Have pity & spare Your people, O Lord, & give not Your heritage to reproach, that the [heathen] nations should rule over them or use a byword against them. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?
THIS IS EXACTLY THE ISSUE RIGHT NOW, heathen nations ruling over the righteous is what they want. They really want to eliminate us period. Why indeed should they say, where is their God? Call on the name of the Lord, ASK FOR THE FORMER & LATTER DAY RAIN TO FALL, FOR GOD TO MANIFEST HIS GLORY, TO JUDGE THE WICKEDNESS; TO STRIP US OF OUR AREAS OF BLINDNESS, TO CAST DOWN ALL DARKNESS .
Joel 2:18 Then was the Lord jealous for His land & had pity on His people. 19 Yes, the Lord answered & said to His people, Behold, I am sending you grain & juice [of the grape] & oil, & you shall be satisfied with them; & I will no more make you a reproach among the [heathen] nations.
20 But I will remove far off from you the northern [destroyer's] army & will drive it into a land barren & desolate, with its front toward the eastern [Dead] Sea & with its rear toward the western [Mediterranean] Sea.
And its stench shall come up [like that of a decaying mass of locusts, a symbol & forecast of the fate of the northern army in the final day of the Lord], & its foul odor shall come up, because He has done great things [the Lord will have destroyed the invaders]!

HALLELUJAH!! If we pray & fast, & do as He has said, HE WILL DO THIS! HE HAS PROMISED. For the Lord is MERCIFUL & SLOW TO ANGER, HE WILL RELENT & EVEN OUR HUMBLING OURSELVES IS BECAUSE HE GIVES US THE GRACE TO DO SO FOR APART FROM HIM WE CAN DO NOTHING! HE IS NOT THE KING OF STRIVING. HE JUST WANTS OUR RELATIONSHIP, OUR FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM, OUR LOVE. SO WE ASK FOR GRACE, GRACE, GRACE TO THE MOUNTAINS OF OPPOSITION & HE COMES & POURS OUT HIS HOLY SPIRIT THAT WE MAY FULFILL HIS WORD, & HE COMES TO RESCUE US. FOR I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES, & IN THE END HE WILL MAKE HIS STAND ON THE EARTH IT SAYS IN JOB.

Let the earth hear, & all that is in it; the world, & all things that come forth from it. 2 For the Lord is indignant against all nations, & His wrath is against all their host. Jeremiah 25:31-35 AMPC
31 A noise will come even to the ends of the earth, for the Lord has a controversy & an indictment against the nations; He will enter into judgment with all mankind; as for the wicked, He will give them to the sword, says the Lord.
32 Thus says the Lord of hosts: Behold, evil will go forth from nation to nation, & a great whirling tempest will rise from the uttermost parts of the earth.33 And those slain by the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented or gathered or buried; their [dead bodies] shall be dung upon the ground.
34 Wail, you shepherds, & cry; & roll in ashes, you principal ones of the flock. For the days of your slaughter & of your dispersions have fully come, & you shall fall & be dashed into pieces like a choice vessel. 35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal ones of the flock any means of escape.
This is all for the wicked & the compromising, not for the remnant of believers who have put their trust in Him. Rev 21:6 And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who THIRSTS. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, & I will be his God & he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, & all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire & brimstone, which is the second death.

O land; be glad & rejoice,
for the Lord has done

Zechariah 12:8-10 AMPC
8 In that day will the Lord
guard & defend the inhabitants
of Jerusalem, & he who is
[spiritually] feeble & stumbles
among them in that day [of
persecution] shall become [strong & noble] like David; & the house of David [shall maintain its supremacy] like God, like the Angel of the Lord Who is before them. 9 And it shall be in that day that I will make it My aim to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour out upon the house of David & upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace or unmerited favor & supplication. Glory to God!!! He will bring salvation by His GRACE!
Joel 2:22 Be not afraid, you wild beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness have sprung up & are green; the tree bears its fruit, & the fig tree & the vine yield their [full] strength.
23 Be glad then, you children of Zion, & rejoice in the Lord, your God; for He gives you the former or early rain in just measure & in righteousness, & He causes to come down for you the rain, the former rain & the latter rain, as before. 24 And the [threshing] floors shall be full of grain & the vats shall overflow with juice [of the grape] & oil.
Joel 2:25 And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten–the hopping locust, the stripping locust, & the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26 And you shall eat in plenty & be satisfied & praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame. 27 And you shall know, understand, & realize that I am in the midst of Israel & that I the Lord am your God & there is none else. My people shall never be put to shame.
He says it TWICE emphasizing the truth of His great mercy; MY PEOPLE WILL NEVER BE PUT TO SHAME.
Joel 2:28 And afterward I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; & your sons & your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. 29 Even upon the menservants & upon the maidservants in those days will I pour out My Spirit.
AFTERWARD, after all that, HE WILL POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT ON ALL FLESH. ALL FLESH MEANS ALL FLESH!!! HE DOESN’T LEAVE ANYONE OUT IN THIS VERSE. THINK ON THAT!
Joel 2:30 And I will show signs & wonders in the heavens, & on the earth, blood & fire & columns of smoke.

Ezekiel 32:7-10 AMPC And when I have extinguished you, I will cover the heavens [of Egypt] & make their stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud & the moon shall not give her light. 8 All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you & set darkness upon your land, says the Lord God. 9 I will also trouble & vex the hearts of many peoples when I bring your breaking & trembling & destruction & carry you captive among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.
10 I will make many peoples amazed & appalled at you [Egypt], & their kings shall shudder & be horribly afraid because of you when I brandish My sword before them; they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your downfall.

The great power of our God will be displayed as never before in these judgments. Keep us from Your wrath to come Abba!
Joel 2:32 And whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered & saved, for in Mount Zion & in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, & among the remnant [of survivors] shall be those whom the Lord calls. [Acts 2:17-21; Rom. 10:13.]

Romans 10:13 AMPC For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved.
We need to be sharing the gospel as we talk to people around us. For the time keeps getting shorter. These scriptures don’t need much interpretation. They are pretty obvious.
