Last week the Lord brought me to Habakkuk 3 and I sent it out on my list.
Then Sunday, father’s day, the pastoress spoke on the whole of Habakkuk.
Then at the coffee shop Tuesday I talked with one man who said his pastor also spoke on Habakkuk that Sunday. I felt led to go through it more and put my comments in hopes it will encourage you.
Habakkuk 1
1:1 THE BURDEN or oracle (the thing to be lifted up) which Habakkuk the prophet saw. 2 O Lord, how long shall I cry for help and You will not hear? Or cry out to You of violence and You will not save? 3 Why do You show me iniquity and wrong, and Yourself look upon or cause me to see perverseness and trouble? For destruction and violence are before me; and there is strife, and contention arises.
Does this not seem familiar to us now in this season ? We see violence all around us these days. Just recently in Santa Monica, a young man went on a killing spree. He was of Arabic descent. Parents had divorced, he was an angry young man from what neighbors said. Another Hispanic couple were locked up for killing their own son. DCS was not protective of the child though they had investigated. Tonight on Fox news there was a story about a sting police carried out in the area to capture child molesters. The first one they mentioned was a deacon in his church. But it was a HUGE operation and I forget but a large number of people were arrested for trying to have sex with a 14 yr old. And CONTENTION as it points out is arising everywhere. This is such an accurate description of our times.
4 Therefore the law is slackened and justice and a righteous sentence never go forth, for the [hostility of the] wicked surrounds the [uncompromisingly] righteous; therefore justice goes forth perverted.
We see over and over again, despite evidence, that justice is often, not always, but often perverted. Bad things happening to good people, and the enemy trying to wear out the saints. I know several women who endured abuse and deception at the hands of pretend Christian men who then was abusive after marrying, and horrible outcomes, with losing their children, to the courts where there was no justice. When I went with one young woman years ago, whose child had been taken away from her. The Lord called the courthouse, “a house of prostitution”. Winning seems to go to the highest bidder, the one who has money.
5 Look around [you, Habakkuk, replied the Lord] among the nations and see! And be astonished! Astounded! For I am putting into effect a work in your days [such] that you would not believe it if it were told you. [Acts 13:40,41.]
Paul is speaking in the synagogue here in Acts and after some history references to them says: Acts 13:40-41 Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you: 41 'Behold, you despisers, Marvel and perish! For I work a work in your days, A work which you will by no means believe, Though one were to declare it to you.'" NKJV
So he’s using something for that former time, applying to to the now. And this is also applicable today. God has been saying I will do a NEW THING, a SUDDENLY, many Suddenlies !
6 For behold, I am rousing up the Chaldeans, that bitter and impetuous nation who march through the breadth of the earth to take possession of dwelling places that do not belong to them. [2 Kings 24:2.] 7 [The Chaldeans] are terrible and dreadful; their justice and dignity proceed [only] from themselves.
Looking up Chaldeans in the Zondervan Bible encyclopedia Chaldea was a name given to first an area south of Babylon, then when the Chaldean dynasty took over that area, it came to mean all of BABYLONIA.
This is important for understanding the scriptures.
In the last section it says this: “ The immense scientific learning of the Chaldeans [ Neo-Babylonians ] especially in mathematical astronomy and its associated ASTROLOGY, divination and rituals was taught in the Babylonian temple schools. These texts were preserved in the Aramaic. [ formerly wrongly designated “Chaldee”] and in the cuneiform script used for copying Sumer and Akkad. Literature. In Daniel [ 2:2, 4:7, 5:7-11], the term Chaldean was thus equated with “ MAGICIANS, ENCHANTERS, and SOOTHSAYERS”. This was but the beginning of the use of the term for priests and specialists in these “arts”, as it appears in Herodotus about 450 b.c.
We all know there has been a huge “awakening” per se of darkness, and the dark arts. And many of us have gone through a lot fighting these spirits around us. Sometimes in our own families.
Paul goes on to describe them:
8 Their horses also are swifter than leopards and are fiercer than the evening wolves, and their horsemen spread themselves and press on proudly; yes, their horsemen come from afar; they fly like an eagle that hastens to devour. 9 They all come for violence; their faces turn eagerly forward, and they gather prisoners together like sand. 10 They scoff at kings, and rulers are a derision to them; they ridicule every stronghold, for they heap up dust [for earth mounds] and take it.
Now who does this sound like if not muslims ? They have no respect for authorities, they have conquered large areas of Africa, killing and maming people. “They heap up dust” reminds me of the character in Peanuts cartoons called “pigpen”. Some people are like always stirring up trouble, just like pigpen stirred up dust. It’s interesting that they also have such huge dust storms overseas, which recently became a phenomonen here in the west, I think it was in Vegas. Now I’m NOT saying all arabs are like this, but the description of the angel to Hagar about her son was this:
Gen 16:11-12 NKJV And the Angel of the LORD said to her: "Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael,Because the LORD has heard your affliction. 12 He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him.And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren."
11 Then they sweep by like a wind and pass on, and they load themselves with guilt, [as do all men] whose own power is their god. 12 Are not You from everlasting, O Lord my God, my Holy one? We shall not die. O Lord, You have appointed [the Chaldean] to execute [Your] judgment, and You, O Rock, have established him for chastisement and correction. [Deut 32:4.]
Now this is interesting isn’t it. Our hearts really don’t like this, because for years many prophets have taught GOD doesn’t judge. But that is not truth. And so MANY times in the history of Israel, did God use her enemies to chastise her.
Hab: 1:13 You are of purer eyes than to behold evil and can not look [inactively] upon injustice. Why then do You look upon the plunderer? Why are you silent when the wicked one destroys him who is more righteous than [the Chaldean oppressor] is? 14 Why do You make men like the fish of the sea, like reptiles and creeping things that have no ruler [and are defenseless against their foes]?
Has not this been in our hearts beloveds ? We are wondering why God are you allowing this government to be taken over by Chaldeans, which would include the muslim brotherhood, and freemasons, as they are the architects of the N.W.O., and of most of the occultic challenges in this nation. They ARE Satanists, since they bow to baphomet and every other god in the repertoire of paganism.
15 [The Chaldean] brings all of them up with his hook; he catches and drags them out with his net, he gathers them in his dragnet; so he rejoices and is in high spirits. 16 Therefore he sacrifices [offerings] to his net and burns incense to his dragnet, because from them he lives luxuriously and his food is plentiful and rich.
His dragnet is like a spider’s web that Judy described in her word from the Lord.
17 Shall he therefore continue to empty his net and mercilessly go on slaying the nations forever?
THIS truly is the cry of our heart right now, for this hour ? In 1989 this Swedish prophet had a word about God bringing down the walls of ISLAM. And that is scriptural if you read Isaiah.
Habakkuk 2
2:1 [OH, I know, I have been rash to talk out plainly this way to God!] I will [in my thinking] stand upon my post of observation and station myself on the tower or fortress, and will watch to see what He will say within me and what answer I will make [as His mouthpiece] to the perplexities of my complaint against Him.
2 And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. [Heb 10:37,38.]
The NKJV says it this way:
Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. NKJV
The word that has to do with “at the end” refers to a process, so may be applied to the end of days.
4 Look at the proud; his soul is not straight or right within him, but the [rigidly] just and the [uncompromisingly] righteous man shall a live by his faith and in his faithfulness. [Rom 1:17; Gal 3:11.]
THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. Thus if we want to live on the side of God’s justice, we will walk in faith in HIS ability to deliver us. Because His SON came that men might be made free to worship HIM. And in the promise He included ALL MEN.
Hab 2:5 Moreover, wine and b wealth are treacherous; the proud man [the Chaldean invader] is restless and cannot stay at home. His appetite is large like that of Sheol and [his greed] is like death and cannot be satisfied; he gathers to himself all nations and collects all people as if he owned them.
This is such an accurate description of the illuminists, “Bilderbergers”, freemasons, warlocks. Does it not say in James:
James 2:5-7 NKJV Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts? 7 Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?
James 5:1-6 NKJV Rich Oppressors Will Be Judged
5 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. 4 Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. 5 You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. 6 You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.
Hab 2:6 Shall not all these [victims of his greed] take up a taunt against him and in scoffing derision of him say, Woe to him who piles up that which is not his! [How long will he possess it?] And [woe to him] who loads himself with promissory notes for usury!
Is this not what happened and is happening re usury with the mortgage scams & ponzi schemes?
7 Shall [your debtors] not rise up suddenly who shall bite you, exacting usury of you, and those awake who will vex you [toss you to and fro and make you tremble violently]? Then you will be booty for them.
He’s saying there will be revolts against this oppression, people arising, just like is happening. And in the news today, demonstrations in Brazil, and look at what’s happening in Turkey and Greece.
8 Because you [king of Babylon] have plundered many nations, all who are left of the people shall plunder you--because of men's blood and for the violence done to the earth, to the city and all the people who live in each city.
He says it will be done back to them, those wicked who have stolen and robbed others, and because of the violence they have perpetrated. As this robbery also causes violence. It causes young men to revolt against a system of injustice, and bigotry. Like the Oil mogul from Britain who called us the “little people”. We are the little people all right, the little people who make you rich. And below God says to such, WOE TO YOU who set yourselves above, to excape from any calamity. You can hide in your underground built havens, but God is the LORD OF LORDS, and nothing can hide from HIM.
Hab 2:9 Woe to him who obtains wicked gain for his house, [who thinks by so doing] to set his nest on high that he may be preserved from calamity and delivered from the power of evil! 10 You have devised shame to your house by cutting off and putting an end to many peoples, and you have sinned against and forfeited your own life.
There are also many within the sheepfold who do the same. I know one pastor I used to work along side of who eventually took $10,000 from a couple who had to mortgage their house to give it to him, and he told them he would turn it into a million $ for them as an investment in a certain company. Others have been caught doing ponzi schemes. It’s not surprising a temptation. I’ve fallen myself to deception over fear of not having enough, so I’m not condemning ANYONE for apart from grace we might end up doing the same, but I am saying that the influence is all around us and pastors fall to many temptations, especially if we don’t pray for them, or they’ve not been healed and delivered.
Hab 2:11 For the stone shall cry out of the wall [built in sin, to accuse you], and the beam out of the woodwork will answer it [agreeing with its charge against you]. 12 Woe to him who builds a town with blood and establishes a city by iniquity! 13 Behold, is it not by appointment of the Lord of hosts that the nations toil only to satisfy the fire [that will consume their work], and the peoples weary themselves only for emptiness, falsity, and futility?
Sadly America has been built partially on a wrong foundation and that wrong side has grown to overcome the right that was here. The masons wanted to build another utopia, and now the N.W.O. but it’s premise is not on what people think. It’s on also a faulty foundation of greed and subjugation of the masses of people. There is occult premise, and all according to one person who worked with the UN will have to give allegiance to SATAN to be a part of it. So THAT is what’s wrong with bringing all the people together like another Babel. It is an idealistic goal, but such goals apart from JESUS as the foundation are built on sinking sand. And the Daniel vision shows this last kingdom, part iron, and part clay, like not adhering. So wrong foundation means it will crumble like Babylon of old. Though it may seem prospering and winning. In the end GOD WILL PREVAIL. We must have confidence in this which is truth, and HE Who is Truth.
Hab 2:14 But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. [Isa 11:9.]
How will the above happen unless the LORD prevails through His people?
Now he gets into the PARTY spirit…and the gloating over power. And the purposeful dumbing down of the masses and mind controlling them to corruption and idolatry just so you can have control over them and subdue them. Caryl Matriciana spoke in the link I sent last night on Youtube of how they for years have been programming children to humanism, and pagan concepts so as to lead them in the way THEY want them to go.
15 Woe to him who gives his neighbors drink, who pours out your bottle to them and adds to it your poisonous and blighting wrath and also makes them drunk, that you may look on their stripped condition and pour out foul shame [on their glory]! 16 You [yourself] will be filled with shame and contempt instead of glory. Drink also and be like an uncircumcised [heathen]! The cup [of wrath] in the Lord's right hand will come around to you [O destroyer], and foul shame shall be upon your own glory! [Rev 16:19.]
God will turn the tables on all of this.
Hab 2: 17 For the violence done to Lebanon will cover and overwhelm you; the destruction of the animals [which the violence frightened away] will terrify you on account of men's blood and the violence done to the land, to the city and all its inhabitants.
In the Syrian situation Putin said that the rebels were reported for cannabalism. There was a Youtube vid on this. This is characteristic of the times of NOAH which is used in the new testament as a type of end times. The nephilim were known for this.
18 What profit is the graven image when its maker has formed it? It is only a molten image and a teacher of lies. For the maker trusts in his own creations [as his gods] when he makes dumb idols. 19 Woe to him who says to the wooden image, Awake! and to the dumb stone, Arise, teach! [Yet, it cannot, for] behold, it is laid over with gold and silver and there is no breath at all inside it!
Well over a billion people in India most of whom are idol worshippers, and same with China, Taiwan, Japan in worship of idols, given to Buddhism which originated in India. The LORD says WOE to those who bow to idols who cannot speak or hear.

SO HE WILL JUDGE/ PUNISH THE WICKEDNESS. TIMING IS SO IMPORTANT TO THE LORD, AS HE HAS GIVEN MUCH TIME FOR PEOPLE TO REPENT.
Habakkuk 3 THE PRAYER OF HABAKKUK
3:1 A PRAYER of Habakkuk the prophet, set to wild, enthusiastic, and triumphal music. 2 O Lord, I have heard the report of You and was afraid. O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make [Yourself] known! In wrath [earnestly] remember love, pity, and mercy.
Wow, how Habakkuk cries out for the Lord to remember MERCY, LOVE, and PITY in the midst of what he has just been told , and the vision God gave him. And the worship that is described is the kind that tramples on injustice; wild, enthusiastic, and triumphal music. Here is the warfare clue.
Hab 3:3 God [approaching from Sinai] came from Teman [which represents Edom] and the Holy one from Mount Paran [in the Sinai region]. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! His glory covered the heavens and the earth was full of His praise. 4 And His brightness was like the sunlight; rays streamed from His hand, and there [in the sunlike splendor] was the hiding place of His power.
Now I’m taken back to an encounter with an angel, years back, if not the Angel of the Lord that came to Joy Odom’s church in Georgia. It happened years ago, but it was very significant. The pastor before this one then, had embezzled money and this pastor that took over had to work to make enough to keep things going, which was not easy for him.
They were having worship practice, and I may get some details wrong here, but this is what I remember. There was a man who went out to have a smoke in the parking lot [across from another church across the way – you know how some areas are zoned for churches in some towns ] and he saw a tall man with a robe and hood, and started talking to him. The “man” told him he’d come from SINAI to Atlanta, and was on his way to a town in Florida.
The man showed him a passport with only the name DANIEL on it. { Daniel means “GOD IS JUDGE” } . From his pocket he took out a coin that turned out to be from around the time of the Romans. And two stones he showed him and said one was from the top of Mt Sinai, and one from the bottom of Mt Sinai. The man who went for a smoke took him to the pastor and he gave the coin to the pastor. He had asked if he could sit down a bit and rest. So he hung out while the choir was practicing. Joy said, it was the best practice they’d ever had. : )
Then the cops showed up because the ladies in the church across the way had seen him loitering in the parking lot and had called the police about a suspicious character there. The cops came, and after talking with him, OFFERED to drive him to the border of Florida !! I forget the name of the Florida town he was going to. But all the above is over the top anyhow. This could have been the Lord Himself, or an angel. But the fact He showed him the passport with DANIEL on it , it was definitely a warning, it would seem as well as a sign of God’s love to this pastor and his congregation.
Hab 3:5 Before Him went the pestilence [as in Egypt], and burning plague followed His feet [as in Sennacherib's army]. [Ex 7:2-4; 2 Kings 19:32-35.] 6 He stood and measured the earth; He looked and shook the nations, and the eternal mountains were scattered and the perpetual hills bowed low. His ways are everlasting and His goings are of old.
This is obviously not the only place talking about God’s judgments to come, and shaking the earth, but just read yesterday, Judy C also had gotten a word about God about to SHAKE all that can be shaken as it says in Haggai.
7 I [Habakkuk, in vision] saw the tents of Cushan [probably Ethiopia] in affliction; the [tent] curtains of the land of Midian trembled. 8 Were You displeased with the rivers, O Lord? Or was Your anger against the rivers [You divided]? Was Your wrath against the [Red] Sea, that You rode [before] upon Your horses and Your chariots of victory and deliverance?
He sees affliction and shaking in lands near Israel. He sees in a vision the Lord riding in his chariots of victory and deliverance on the RED SEA !
9 Your bow was made quite bare; sworn to the tribes [of Israel] by Your sure word were the rods of chastisement, scourges, and calamities. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! With rivers You cleaved the earth [bringing forth waters in dry places]. [Ex 17:6; Num 20:11.]
10 The mountains saw You; they trembled and writhed [as if in pain]. The overflowing of the water passed by [as at the deluge]; the deep uttered its voice and lifted its hands on high.
EVERY MOUNTAIN WILL BE MADE LOW, EVERY VALLEY EXALTED ISAIAH SAYS. So throughout these he is seeing God’s vengeance on the wicked.
11The sun and moon stood back [as before Joshua] in their habitation at the light of Your arrows as they sped, at the flash of Your glittering spear. [Josh 10:12,13.] 12 You marched through the land in indignation; You trampled and threshed the nations in anger. 13 You went forth and have come for the salvation of Your people, for the deliverance and victory of Your anointed [people Israel]; You smote the head of the house of the wicked, laying bare the foundation even to the neck. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

[ Again, not saying that many will not die in the days ahead of martyrdom, because there have already been so many]
14 You pierced with his own arrows the head of [the enemy's] hordes; they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me [the people], rejoicing as if to devour the poor [Israel] secretly. 15 You have trodden the sea with Your horses, [beside] the heap of great and surging waters. [Ex 15:8.] I heard and my [whole inner self] trembled; my lips quivered at the sound. Rottenness enters into my bones and under me [down to my feet]; 16 I tremble. I will wait quietly for the day of trouble and distress when there shall come up against [my] people him who is about to invade and oppress them.
The vision is so terrifying to Habakkuk, that he says my whole body trembled, my inner man trembled, and lips quivered. Rottenness entered his bones. And expression of like a sickening feeling. But he says, I WILL WAIT quietly for the day of trouble and distress, when the nations try to invade Israel.
17Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation! [Rom 8:37.]

[Rom 8:37.] This is KEY to success in warfare. WORSHIP is key to countering witchcraft of all kinds. WORSHIP brings PRESENCE. HIS PRESENCE brings all you need. Nothing can stand in His presence. No demon can touch you there.
I’ve told before the story of the young man who was dropped off by his mom to my place cause she’d caught him doing drugs again. She asked if I’d keep him a few days. I’d already been worshipping for a few hours. So I started praying for him, and he had a vision. In the vision he saw three spirits trying to put ropes around my neck. He said, one was red, one was black, and one was like a dark blue. But when the rope touched my neck, it disintegrated, as fire consumed it. So because there has been this arising of the antichrist, all that is against JESUS, has arisen to try and subdue God’s people.
Luz has a messianic friend, who when I was in Chicago once, told me this. Her daughter was working night time cleaning business buildings. She was found murdered in the trunk of her car. Her mom is a worshipper, and when this was found, she heard the enemy speak to her saying, “ NOW WILL YOU WORSHIP HIM?”. If the enemy hates it that much, kind of shows how important it is in defeating him doesn’t it ?
This below is one of my most favorite prayers/declarations:
19 The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!
