Lessons from the Chilean Miners

When I saw the rescue of the Chilean miners, I knew there was something so prophetic about it because of the outcome, & all the attention it got. I sent something to a friend in Australia about it...[but didn't send out anything because I send out so much.] But then Teddy sent a short note, so I felt maybe I should say, my revelation of events were not as thorough as his.
"I just felt that when I saw them imprisoned in a tomb of sorts, that it does parallel tribulations on the way, a time of deep darkness talked about in Isaiah 60. But then Isaiah says, it is at this time, that the LORD will arise over you, & be SEEN over you..."
The rescue involved people from different nations, Americans, the drill was Australian. The world saw it on TV's.
A company my young friend Maria used to work for provided the sunglasses to help their Eyes adjust. They were special glasses...as they'd been in darkness, & needed gradual adjustment to the light. I think this parallels Isaiah 42, a people are in prison & no one says release...& also the people of earth saturated with darkness, but because the LORD arises in us, they are saved from the darkness, many of them...& given NEW VISION.
Also it can stand for those of us who have gone through great trials, & now because of that, have a dim view on life ahead, when GOD wants us to be free of all the fear, & dark imaginings as if HE isn't able to overturn the governments of this world.
The leader of the men helped them with their crisis by making the food stretch, & they all prayed together daily for the deliverance to come. Our leaders are supposed to be like that man, helping us plan for trouble, helping guide us so that we make it THROUGH. UNITY in PRAYER & Worship, & helping one another is vital to the task at hand as well.
When they got out, they were given sports shirts...[ clothing of overcomers/champions? ]
They were reunited with their families...so salvation coming to our families as well ? They were greeted by their president - Our spiritual president is JESUS. He is in Love with His Bride & anxious also to see us overcome.
